Gone Arai We're not big marchers in my district. We're big on Jazz and Concert bands though.... We went to Disneyland this year with full orchestra, that was interesting.... Sounds like us. I don't think any school in our district marches... or if they do, it's not often. My BD directs most of her attention to the jazz bands... jazz is big in my area. The other schools in the district have AAAA jazz bands; we're only AAA, though. sweatdrop But we're working at it.

Our Jazz Band has a truly screwy instrumentation this year... this is what we got:
Trumpet: 3
Trombone: 2
Sax: 5
Piano: 1
Guitar: 1
Bass: 2
Drum Set: 2

SharinganGirl Auburn Riverside Ravens the marching band is tiny, but we all love who we are with. our band program is good though, the wind ensemble and jazz band is really well respected. woo!

Qui-ti Does anyone know what the theme for their next marching show will be? Our BD is keeping it a secret from us, and we're trying to hypothesize; it would be cool to know what other bands are doing though. nah, he just keeps telling us to fundraise like crazy, and something about dialogue on the field with fancy sound equipment, it's gonna be crazy!

iOggy I'm from Overland HS. Aurora, CO. Next year, I'm off to college, where I'll be marching in the Arizona State Sun Devils band (hopefully). really? i know a guy in Arizona State Sun Devil marching band! alto sax i believe, if he stayed with the same instrument

Yes, I'm from San Bernardino High School, right up the road from you. Words to the wise don't go to SCJA tournaments, they'll screw you over like they did to us. SCSBOA judges are legit. Los Altos 1A Champs in marching band nuff said.

I am in Washington. On the little island next to Seattle. i am only in the Oak Harbor Middle School concert band and Jazz Band. We did this really awful Jazz Festival, and like always, and i hear this alot, i say we did awful when we did great. We got Superior markings at competition for our concert band. Right now my biggest fear is the High School is audition only, i hope i can be ready.

Loveland is a great 4A school, love there marching. Cherry Creek you had a cool show this last year for marching. Im Pomona High School In Arvada Colorado, Anyone heard?

I've heard of Loveland, but not Pomona High School in Colorado.

Loveland is a good 4A school, they have won I think the last four or five state championships here for 4A. I will tip my hats to them.

One of our drummers won some award saying he was the fastest drummer. HE is crazy mad good at it.
My marching band is doing jekyl and hyde nest year, we already have a recording of it, it's going to be awsome!
