Kenji looked at Tara then down to the small feline. "...Kinda, but dont worry about it." He mummbled with a small sigh, quickly glancing at Fate.

"Maybe I should go home with Tara now... I can talk to you more tomorrow." Fate sighed and Tara smiled knowing she had interrupted something and was going to get the juicy details.

Kenji nodded and was about to say something but stopped, flicking his tail once. "Oh, okay..see you then." He softly replyed as he turned his attention once again to the outside of the pound.

Fate waved goodbye to Kenji and slowly left, the little girl removed herself from Tara and clinged to Fate now as Tara remained behind. "So would you like to talk about it? You know, I raised Fate so I might know something."

"Well, he probably doesn't know yet... Fate isn't the one to rush into things, but he's not angry with your or he would've simply left." Tara shrugged placing a comforting hand on Kenji's shoulder. "And even if he doesn't feel the same he'll still wish to be friends."

"Yeah, I figured that.." Kenji said relaxing a tad. "I should have kept it in though, so things wouldn't seem weird between us."

"He might avoid you for a while if that's the case, but he'll be back to almost normal after a while." She laughed slight knowing that Fate was probably worrying himself over it right now.
