Twindream Lol, I wouldn't either. xd But Final Fantasy has always been an international game. They want to include the cultures of the world, capturing allusions, attitudes, behaviors, architecture, and etc...I think it's really cool that they do that, it makes FF so unique too! Well....in FFVII, you do play a Japanese guy. xd Cloud is basically a blond Asian, haha! Tifa is predominately Asian...Aeris has some Asian attributes in her too. What!!! I hate to disagree with you, but you just went ageist everything I said and you agreed with me upon, earlier??? Almost nothing about FF7 is Asian at all unless you count Yuffie and perhaps Vincent. Tifa is supposed to be a brown haired brown eyed American looking girl, from looking at the official FF7 art. Also, in the original art, Cloud is as European as all get out and Aeris's name is German.

No no! I'm not disagreeing with you!!! It was a joke, Cloud being a blond Asian and all. I'm just saying that they have some Asian attributes in them. Cloud has a Caucasian appearance. I mean, his eyes are too big to be Asian. Tifa is meant to be more of a American/European girl yes. She too has voluminous eyes.

Anyway, let me be the odd man out. I actually don't think FFVII had a canon relationship. I think it was up to interpretation.I believe that as well ^^;; If there were a cannon most of the debates wouldn't happen, as it would all already be set and it would be one side arguing actual facts, and others pushing interpretation.

Sara Hysaro I think the creators of the game enjoyed making the love triangle. I wonder if they like to see us argue over which pairing is the "true" pairing? xd Yes...I bet they do it for their own sick amusement... eek mrgreen Kidding, Kidding.

Well if I had helped create game and found that almost everybody was getting hot and sweaty arguing about which pairing in the game was more cannon I know that I would feel a small flame of pride in my work inside of my heart. 3nodding

Heh, heh. Well, I like defending Cloti. I like defending Tifa. And, I like pointing out Cleris dellusions.
It's much fun. And frankly, some Cleris make it too easy. -chuckles-
It's Cleris fans like Pink and Iris that I respect. They make you think twice, really. They actually give Cleris some actual proof. (That I actually think about in deep thought, nod my head and say: Hey, that's a point for Cleris.)
I still think that Cloti is definitely more solid, though. x3

Well each side is like, "WE HAVE TO PROVE OUR COUPLE" but seriously, it Square made Cleris the game's canon I would be fine with that. Would I give up on CloTi? Nope, because I love Cloud and Tifa together; but I can still respect the creator's views.

Hey, that's what fanfiction are for! To experience love between whichever character you want regardless of the actual probability of that pairing is. 3nodding
Unless you want something really wierd like Wedge and Sephiroth. Then you'll have to write your own fanfiction. xd

Yeah, if Cleris was chosen as the canon pairing, I'd be upset. (Mostly because rabid Cleris fans would be rubbing it in Cloti's faces.) I'd get over it, though. So, Cloud loved Aeris afterall. Big deal.
But like KDD, I'd still support Cloti! <3 It's a pairing I like, and characters I love, I'd still have fun supporting it.
