"Given the circumstances..." Mira's voice trailed off and a smile found its way onto her lips. Stefan finished her thought, saying, "You have no reason to apologize. I would have done the same for Mira, had she been in a similar situation."

It was a pleasant silence. Mira's thoughts bubbled in her head, bouncing around with the possibilities of meeting new people. It would be fantastic! Her excitement was apparent in her actions as well, seeing as she was having a hard time containing herself. Stefan merely sat back and let her be, keeping in line from behind. He brought up the rear as usual.

Karrot rode his board right up to Remus and turned straight up 10 feet from the group. He did a backflip off the board and landed with a thud as the board came down. He thrust a fist up and snapped it in half, then grabbed a half in each hand as it reformed around his hands into large stone gauntlets and Karrot put his hands up in a fighting position.

Torrent came seconds later, simply hopping off the balls of fluid and skidding the a halt as the balls formed Ice daggers attached to the tops of his fists.
Soon after that the brothers zipped in as Matrix flew out of a hole between them, they each seized and arm mid-air and threw him back ward into a flip, landing on his feet as the Brothers Nescar deactivated their flying mechanisms and landed several feet to either side of the Gaarons. Roma threw two punches at nothing, igniting each fist in flame as he did so. Aron whipped the wind around him, creating a small dust storm before it settled.
Matrix, catching on, quickly struck a fighting pose as well, static electricity racing small bolts around his body.

An eerie silence rose up as they stood there for several seconds with seemingly no reaction from anyone nearby.

Remus, who had seen at least a few of them before, simply stared. "Uh... can I do something for you...?"
PostPosted: Sun Nov 11, 2007 7:57 pm

Karrot slowly dropped his fists and looked around a bit before responding.
"Uh... a vibration suggesting a jump from an above average height, followed by sounds of weapons being drawn and heightened voices with aggrivated tones... So we came to restore peace? Aren't you.... that guy, who... uh... I think I made your wedding cake... uh... your name is.... Robert? No.. that can't be it, something from Roman mythology... Romulus? No Remus! That was it!"
As Karrot spoke the rest of the group slowly relaxed and dispelled their various powers and weapons.

Remus smiled. "You are correct. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding though. There was a mistake concerning my son here." He looked at Riken again.

"I see, well after all those years since your wedding, I don't belive I've formally met you. But I suppose now is not the time for that. I suppose I should probobly be heading back to my own residence, I hope to see you again, Remus."
With that, Karrot clapped his hands together, the gauntlets of sand reforming into his sand board as the others started up their own modes of transportation and Matrix magnetized himself and began to levitate with a glare at the Brothers.
"His name is Karrot Gaaron, I'm his brother Torrent, the other dwarf is Shock Matrix. The Red one is Roma Nescar and the Blue his brother Aron. There, now they know at least our names."
Karrot smiled at his brother as they all zoomed back they way they had come, following Karrot.

Remus watched them leave before shaking his head and continuing on.

"If the Ten regain their former abilities, our hopes for ending their rule will drop from slim to purely impossible," Troden answered, glancing at the two with a smirk, "And you two think you are up for the task of bringing our allies together to stop this from happening..." his smirk slowly faded as he shook his head, "No, I will need you two along with Raziel to head the searches elsewhere. I myself will bring our allies together with help of Fenrir's banshee of a sorceress Tyrshida. What better way to use her powers than as a messaging system?" His appreciation for her saving his life had long since ebbed into a cold annoyance. He hated having to owe another for anything and a life-debt was something that could almost never be repaid...

The sharp note in Isabelle's voice brought the smirk back momentarily as he ran a clawed hand lightly down her arm, "Amaterin, Rasuki...apologize to the Lady Isabelle. You seem to have irked her more than usual."

It was then that he felt it, a light brushing of someone's aura against his..almost like one of Merlin's cats rubbing against him, but this was unfamiliar and yet...

"I shall be back," he said quietly, standing up and moving towards the door. His usual calml expression was more serious than before and his movements were tense, as if he was about to face an unknown enemy. If that was the case then why was he going alone?

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" one of the guards asked, their eyes narrowed slightly at the strange being before them, "If you are on Rajen business, please state what it is and who it is for."

"She is here for me. Isn't it obvious?" Troden's voice replied as he stood in the middle of the doorway. He looked at her curiously as the guards moved back to their positions before gesturing for her to come inside, "We have been rude long enough. Please come in."

If anyone had seen the child at this moment in time, they would have thought there was a death in the family for Riken was int he depths of depression. A cloud could have been pouring wave after wave of rain upon him just to add the gloomy affect and it would have been perfect. He winced as he was included in the conversation and it was only through hiding his face in his already long black hair that he allowed himself to see what was going on. He was going to die. He felt it in every steely glance his father gave him. He was a goner.

Speaking of goners, Ashra and Dorien had long left the room...mentally that is. Their bodies had the appearance of interacting with everyone, but for those who knew them well, the lightless orbs clearly showed how far they actualy were.

Two blazing orbs of gold looked curiously at the screen before them, watching as a young demon ran through the streets and was hunted down by a group of what appeared to be hunters. A score appeared on the screen that raised a slender eyebrow from a separate pair of pale eyes.

Watchers: 15 Damned: 0

"So this is what the people of Lorindel watch...How strange..." Ashra murmured, lifting a small hand to touch the screen. He frowned slighlty as his hand passed through it, "Why have we sent ourselves to this city once again? It would be much easier if we had our physical bodies."

We are here to narrow the searching area for the first vessel. Dorien answered as he looked away from the screen. We don't need our bodies for that...they are becoming more and more useless either way. Let us continue to narrow the search. I feel we are closing in on the point where narrowing the search will be impossible.

"Very well, but we could have done this later. We are missing the highlights of the meeting."

Ashra...you annoy me...

"Only annoy? I must be slipping."

...

--

"Seine darling, we both know how I like the dark..." Vincent answered with a smirk before looking casually at everyone else, "There aren't any questions? I'm shocked..."

Lina took this time to begin to speak, "How soon must these vessels be found before your bodies truly began to wear down?"

The smirk slowly disappeared from Vincent's face as the question was asked. Of course Moneko's Apprentice would want the worst news first...

"It has been fifty years already and I am already surprised we lasted this long," he said slowly, "Ashra has looked into this and even he isn't sure, so I'd say any moment must not be wasted in finding them." It was a roundabout way of saying 'any moment now', but the meaning was clear.

She hadn't appeared to hear the guards, simply swayed slightly as she were listening to music only she could hear. She stilled when she heard Troden and a soft smile curled her lips. Pale green pupiless eyes blinked and seemed to focus on Troden for a moment before they lost focus and became distant and clouded, It is good to finally meet you. I apologize but if you could give me a hand? The simple gesture of simply offering her arm was made graceful accompanied with a little bob of a curtsie.

~~~
Merlin tilted her head, "Dorien, I was under the impression that your vessel was Magnolia. Has that changed?" She asked suddenly.
~~~

Magnolia sneezed and blinked. She sniffled, drying her hands and pulling out a kerchief to wipe her nose.

"Are you getting sick, Mama?" Margo asked from her spot in front of a saucer with brownie crumbs decorating it. She also had some on her cheeks.

"Hey Margo." This from Latimer.

Margo blinked and looked up at her brother then shrieked as her older brothers covered her face in kisses.

"Boys, stop accosting your sister!" Magnolia barked.

The boys straightened and grinned at her, "She had crumbs--"

"--all on her face, we were just helping with the clean up!"

Dorien's head turned her way and remarkably began to speak, There are different types of vessels for different types of magic. Yes, she is my vessel, but I placed most of my inner emotions and vampiric powers within her, not my soul. The vessels needed now are completely different for not only are our powers going to be placed within them, but our entire being. If I did that to Magnolia, her soul would instantly move into the Gates of Death and her body would be mine...that hasn't happened... his voice was faint, understandably so since he was so far away, but the way he trailed off made it seem like he left something out. Those who knew him could probably finish the statement...

And it never will...

--

[I get it Scarlett...lol]

Tyran chuckled lightly at the thinly veiled display of greed the twins had made before the smile slowly faded away as his thoughts returned to the realm of Signet. He needed to go now. Of course this sense of urgency was a bit late, but he had gained Dorien's goal--oriented personality. Who cares about the timing? Just get the job done.

A not-so-gentle kick from under the table signalled that Kari had gained that mindset as well. What are you waiting on? she asked privately, glancing at Marguerite for a second before continuing. They all knew the girl had the ability to sneak into a 'conversation' if she wanted, Dad's not coming back for a while and we both know mom probably wouldn't mind anyway...why won't ou just go now? There goes that rebellious streak...

You obviously don't remember the last time both Magnolia and Dorien were angry at us at the same time, Tyran replied, frowning slightly, I'm surprised we weren't killed...

Well, that was when we were younger and couldn't defend ourselves. Now we can and go blade to blade with most guards here. Kari answered with a shrug. Go now! I'll create an illusion of you sitting here just as you fade away. It should work...until mom decides to talk to you.

And then I'll be killed. Thanks for the encouragement... he blinked in surprise as Kari suddenly grabbed his wrist, a small grin appearng upon her face. It scared him slightly, for the mischief in it nearly looked evil...

If you won't go on your own, then I'll just have to make you... Tyran nearly yelped as he felt his body fading on its own, his older sister's fanged grin only growing at his surprise, "What's wrwong dear brother? You look pale..." And just like that, he was in Signet. Tyran looked around, abit rattled from power charged air of the place. He could scarcely breathe...

When Tyran disappeared, Kari slowly sat back down in satisfaction as her mirror image of her brother glanced at her in confusion before looking away. Now brother, get your job done. I can handle mom and dad on my own. Atleast she hoped so...

"Your father will not be pleased." Magnolia's voice broke into her thoughts. She turned so that she fixed Kari into her peridot gaze, an all too knowing gaze, "But I remember Goldie's anguish when he disappeared, I have felt that anguish, it's like your heart is literally being torn apart in your chest." She turned away again, concentrating on the dishes, "Then again, when you're reunited it's an indescribable joy. I do hope you find that joy someday, my young love." She turned and smiled pleasantly at her oldest child, moving around the table, her hand shooting out, "Until then." Kari's ear was in her iron grip again, "I know you think you're cute but we shall try again with that clothes change, hm?" Releasing her she planted a kiss on her cheek before turning her attention to Marguerite, who was wiping her face off.

~~~
Merlin looked thoughtful for a moment, her lips curling upwards even more but she didn't say what she's thinking, she turned to look at Vincent, "So you all aren't given an clue as to who your vessels are? How inconvenient." She murmered, "Perhaps the Fae can help us here...? They have many spells for almost everything..." That wistful smile again, this one a bit wider before her features settled into placid blankness again.
((what?))
[Nothing, I just thought the sneeze was amusing. You know they say about sneezing for no reason...]
The image instantly disappeared as pain shot from Kari's ear, "That hurts!" she complained, but they both knew it more about the complaint about her clothing than anything else, "What happened to freedom of expression?" she asked with a thinly veiled smile. Of course that law applied to another realm, but still...
--
Vincent would have replied, but Emit took the answer rigt from his lips, If it helps, they'll look exactly like our human forms and as we all know not many beings look exactly like us. But yes, the Fae will most likely be able to help us as well as our own people. Some of the Noble Families have even returned to help as well, so we are well supported. Vincent looked at Emit for only a moment before the classic vampiric mask covered his face.
Merlin nodded, "I suppose I owe Princess Obsidian a call." She mused aloud, but before then she'd give Vincent the shocking and delighting news, she was a bit anxious for this meeting to be over but it didn't show outwardly, she even kept those thoughts hidden away from Vincent.
((Lol, oh yeah! ^^))
Magnolia simply rewarded that question with a snort, wiping the girls face off, "You two, have you finished your studies, and don't you lie to me." She gave them a hard glance.
"Yup!"
"All finished!" They replied together.
Magnolia nodded, satisfied they told the truth, "Good, perhaps you'd like to help your sister pick out something seemly to wear? She appears to be suffering from lack of taste..." She gave her daughter a sweet smile, "Or are you okay on your own?"
"I would rather die than wear something those two monsters pick out..." Kari murmured, rubbing her ear as she walked out the door, "Fine...I'll put on something more princesslike..." she shuddered slighlty before her figure disappeared.
Meanwhile, Tyran had to the good sense to change his own clothes -only a pair of pants and bandages at the time- to a more appropriate style. He closed his eyes and murmured a molding spell, binding the wind temporarily to his will and lifting the bandages from his body. The blood staining the cloth formed into different elvan symbols while the cloth itself connected and expanded around him, forming a long white trenchcoat. He slid his arms through it as his pants were created in the same fashion.. A few moments later, he walked out of the alley appeared in and moved down the street, his hair held in a ponytail minus the few locked strands acting as bangs.
He looked up at the sky for a moment before closing his eyes and sending a small message to the one who would hear it and understand... ...I always keep my promises...
--
"Then I guess the only thing we really need to do is to give out the locations we believe these vessels will be," Vincent finally said and looked at Moneko. She nodded and stood up to place a smal book upon the center of the table.
Lina stiffened as she looked at it. The Book of the Ten...
"I'm sure I know what most of you are thinking at this point, and I assure you that your thoughts are all wrong." Vincent said as he gestured towards the book, "Lady Moneko has graciously created a new book, one that will not only give you the vessels' location, but how to contact us in a time of need since you will be traveling quite abit." the book duplicated itself and appeared in each person's hands, "These are the Books of Fate my friends. Treat them with care. Are there anymore questions?"
"How will the soul transfer take place?" the voice came from one of their allies, "And who will be finding these vessels exactly? You can't expect all of us to drop our responsilbilites to look for these things do you?" a small murmur of agreement was heard all around.
"That my friends have already been taken care of," Vincent said with smirk, "The former Lotus, Blaydon and Bastet organizations have combined to created quite a group. They are known as the Soul Transfer Unit and will be in charge of such a responsibilty. Our apprentices are heads of this organization, so please be assured that most you will need to do is gie them support if needed." he glanced at Lina and Merlin for a second before standing up and placing his hands upon the table, "Now that I believe the important questions have been asked, I think this meeting has ended."
Lina slowly stood up and looked at Vincent and the rest of the Ten quietly as their allies began to move away. It was faint, but she could see the fatigue in most of them. They would have to hurry and find those bodies before the fatigue grew worse or Troden and his own allies find them...
With a small frwn, she moved away, the newest book in hand.
