Yeah, I figured that out because of StrifeHeart sadly.
OMG! THEY SPOILED CC FOR ME! THOSE BASTARDS. :lmao:
Anyway, I guess it isn't her then. They look so similar, though!

Well, maybe sometime somebody will make a fanfiction based completely on the games. Sort of a reference for those who can't play it.

LunarSchemer Third, did any of you notice that as Tifa and Cloud are leaving the lifestream, they are holding hands? :3 er, actually, it's just the camera angle and the blocky nature of their hands.
i thought the same thing as well, but when i forgot to save my game and had to re-play the mideel arc, i paid close attention and cloud is floating to the surface before tifa. she, like, catches up to him and their hands overlap.
but sure, i mean, ya can still say that they were holding hands, but it must've been very subtle, seeing as tifa didn't REACH for his hand, ya know?
i hate to be all nit-picky, but that rose a question in my mind, "oh HO? they're holding hands... *turn of PS2, forgot to save*" then "oh no, just faulty camera angles."

Eh, I don't know. I replayed that scene recently and it looked to me that they were holding hands. Of course, polygon figures don't exactly give that much detail, but they seemed rather close. I wouldn't be surprised if they were holding hands. In "The Maiden" in Aeris' perspective, the two of the embraced when the real Cloud surfaced so yeah.

Good point, Twin. : ]
If it was "just the blocky nature" over-lapping, how would you be able to tell if they were holding hands or not? xD The graphics are less than desired at that point, so no you haven't crushed my dreams or anything. Actually, Pink already mentioned to me before that they might not be holding hands. And, I agree the very well might not be. Just because Tifa "catches up to him" and their hands "overlap" doesn't mean they aren't holding hands/connected some-how.
And like Twin said, in Maiden they embrace. So Cleris might want to just accept the 'holding hands' part instead. -laughs-.

er, no... i think you might have misunderstood me. but, to me, the plain fact that Cloud swims up before Tifa, and that you don't see her reaching for his hand, is pretty much evidence that they weren't holdin' hands. and just because they overlap doesn't automatically mean Tifa was close to him at all. (which is what i tried to hint at 'bout 'blocky hands'... their hands are huge.) she could've been in front more (closer to the camera). it's pretty much swimswimswimSUDDENHOLDINGHANDSswimswim. you'd think there'd be more emphasis an' all. incidentally, i'm not a cleris. confused i'm a zeris. And I'm not talkin' 'bout Maiden, at all. this scene came way before Maiden began.

Actually...The Maiden happens DURING the FFVII storyline. sweatdrop But *ahem* I see what you're saying. However, it's a matter of perception really. Even Pink, who is a diehard Cleris fan believes that they were holding hands as well. I'm just saying that it's a possibility. In The Maiden, it was already illustrated that Cloud and Tifa actually give physical contact (ex. the embrace, Tifa resting on Cloud's shoulder, etc...) so it wouldn't be surprising if they held hands really.

Wait I dont believe they were holding hands! xD But if they were it doesnt really bother me. It would just show Tifa supporting Cloud in his time of need. : 3
OH! and just so I'm not misunderstood, I dont mean that comment in a pro-cloti way. As you guys have mentioned we know Aerith and Tifa both love Cloud but it really comes down to who Cloud loves. And we both know where I stand. ^^

Thanks for that, Pink! And Dragonia, I never meant that you were Cleris. :] I'm just saying... if Cleris want to make a HUGE deal about it, they may want to accept the holding hands part more than the hugging part. xD It was kinda funny--- This morning I was watching my friend playing FFVII, and she got to the LifeStream scene. She said, "Wow, so far all his memories are ALL about Tifa!" And afterwards, "How can any-one think that Cloti is NOT a pairing?" x'D

LOLZ! I feel the same way. xd Heheh, it's the same with my friend. She never played FFVII but when she watched the movie, she was like, "Cloud and Tifa would make a good couple." xd Made me feel happy inside.

I regard Tifa as the only person that could fix the mess that was Cloud.
Not that Aeris wouln't have helped or tried if she could have, but she doesn't know the true Cloud, the one beneath the Zack mask.
So Tifa was the only one, because she is one of the sources of Cloud's desires to become stronger.
*fluff explodes*

Yeah. And she's the only one who is tied to his past. Aeris didn't have that advantage. She would not have been able to meet the real Cloud so big points for Tifa!

-nods- If had been Aeris in Tifa's place, well... it's no doubt that she'd try to help. However, she doesn't know the real Cloud, his past and moreover, his feelings. Tifa didn't really know his TRUE feelings, but she discovered a lot after delving into his past with him like that. She's the only one who could help him realize who he really was. No-one else could do that. :] Even Aeris and her "magiikal ancient powahz". : D

I think it's awesome symbolism! surprised

Twindream Heheh, Cleris can try with all their might to argue that this scene doesn't establish the Cloti relationship, but they'd only look stupid. "But Tifa didn't do anything!" "She didn't care for him!" And etc...! How many times have we heard these arguments?
