I remember really liking the old Archie Ninja Turtles comics, after they stopped adapting cartoon episodes and started making up their own weird a** ideas.

Anyone remember BattleToads or Capt. Bucky O'Hare? I liked them as well. I still remember the Bucky theme song. sweatdrop

BattleToads was goofy. O'Hare I kinda liked. What was up with that four-armed duck with the six-shooters?

The goofiness of BattleToads is what I liked.
I always thought that duck was straaange. But unique I suppose.

I have almost the entire Archie Comics run Ninja Turtles (not counting the mini-series or the annuals). The Future Shark Trilogy is where it really got badass in my opinion.
Also, I have an mp3 of the intro theme to Bucky O'Hare and one of these days I plan on tracking down the Graphic Novel published by Neal Adams Continuity Comics.

Speaking of comic books...
is it true that the Star Wars comics once did a crossover with The Punisher and/or Bucky O'Hare? A friend of mine told me of a comic book cover he saw where it looked like a scowling C3PO, Han Solo and Bucky O'Hare were all staring down The Punisher charging at them in a space suit with a ray gun.

Not sure about that BUT there was a X-Men and Star Trek: The Next Generation crossover (a novel I believe).

That's a misinterpretation of the Marvel Comics Star Wars series from the late 70's. Han got himself a crazy a** pirate crew one of which was a giant green bunny.

My need for ridiculous comics goes unfulfilled yet again. cry

Floyd Back on topic, all of you. So, who all saw the premere of the Viewtiful Joe show this morning? I missed the schedule and didn't record the episode. Can't find an English website for the show yet, so here's the next best thing. http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/vj/ Ahem... All right, It has been a week and this time I forced myself to sit through 10 minutes of Viewtiful Joe. It sucked. They lost me when Joe said "I'm such a newbie at this." After throwing up for a couple of minutes, I shot the TV and staggered on with my day.

I ******** hate Scrappy.
I am a fan of Scooby though. And my kids LOVE Scooby.
In the same vein as Scooby, has anyone seen this show Martin Mystery? It's a bit Scooby-ish, but more updated and anime-ish... well, that Americanime style that is. It's pretty decent, IMO. For someone who is forced to watch never-ending cartoons, as I am, it's better than most other crap.
