I love the books I remember when I first read them growing up, I hardly slept I couldn't stop reading them, brilliant works of literature.

I however have not AND REFUSE to see the movie with every fiber of my being, I don't believe from what I've seen the characters identify with those in the book but whats worse is the fact they DARED change its name, I read and love the Northern Lights, they can go and hang themselves and they're Golden Compass(not the malicious intent when I write the words) for all I care.. a well as hope for.
