Darn… I did an entire paragraph, but it logged me out as I hit submit.
I'll come back and reply after I'm done studying. Hold tight. (=

I dunno if you use the "voi" form when addressing someone or the "tu". I've learned to do the "tu" form, but I saw you use "voi" while addressing me, and I know Bella definitely uses it, so I'll start doing that as well.

Bene!
Visitate i vostri parenti in Italia?

Anyway. Oh, the canals! Yea, forgive me, I meant to ask you about the canals and the gondola rides there.

Leggo voi risposta adesso, it sounds like voi visitate ogni anno aiutare a Carnaval. Oh!
Se volete, of course.
Lui anche …ha dato (?) un sito … Lemme just say this in English. He also gave us a website where it shows us how to make something similar to what they have there (www.venicemaskshop.com). Le mascherine sono molto costose! Da venti ad ottanta soldi!? Much more expensive than what I'm used to here anyway. But like I said, they're very beautiful!

Sì, sì! Molto divertimento! Io non posso attendere! Io voglio andare adesso!
Now I'm not sure what "efficacemente bella" means exactly, ma Isabella è efficacemente bella! Or just plain breathtaking!

Anyway. Yes, you may add me! I'd be pretty glad if you did!

And yes again! I am Armenian, yet I do believe you have that in Russian. Though I thought, for some reason, that that was done in Greek. Anyway.
I got the first half of what you wrote, but the second half I can't really figure out. I think it might be in a different dialect.
But "Menk hai enk" means "We are Armenian," and it would look like
User Image
in Armenian.
Sorry I couldn't help you with the second part.

Lol I had that yesterday too sweatdrop and at least thanks for trying smile

(About efficacemente bella, I meant exactly what you said xp )
((and I meant that I attend carnaval each year not help sweatdrop ))

(((I would like to learn at much languages as I possibly can razz I currently know 8 languages with at least a little knowledge of each language smile )))

PostPosted: Mon Dec 10, 2007 10:33 pm

*Smacks my head* Ah! Can't believe it did it again!
Anyway, here I go again…

That's pretty impressive! Eight languages!? I too would like to learn as many languages as I can. So what would those languages be and why did you learn them all?

(Ah! So does "aiutare" mean both to attend and to help? Or was there a mistake on either of our ends? Ho avuto classe d'italiano per quindici settimane. Così ho molto imparare, sono sicuro.)

Ben bene!
Almeno tradizionalmente, vero?
Meraviglioso! xD Well, I hope you can find them pictures and upload 'em then!

Akh, well I'm done with classes now! So I can finally sleep in tomorrow!
Buona notte! O buona mattina, since penso voi leggete e rispondete la mattina.

I know Italian and Dutch/Belgian from my parents razz and French, German, English/American I have had for 4 years at school sweatdrop and I know a bit Chinese and Latin too 3nodding not that much, yet! but reasonable razz I actually didn't really choose to learn all those languages (except Chinese and Latin) but I'm happy that I did now 3nodding (I think Chinese and Latin are interesting languages, so that's why I learn those wink )
Also I sometimes use words that aren't really translated the way I want, but I used them my whole life wink so that's why, you can just ask if you're not sure though ;p (it's actually also is attest and since English is not one of my strongest points I see that as attend too xp You have to see it from my side I could translate it but I would translate it to dutch first and after that into English so most of the time you get strange translations razz )

(You mean newly weds yeah it is tradition if you're newly wedded that you take a ride ( confused ) in a gondola through whole town) Ma è per tutti realmente. Spero che trovi le foto. Ed è buona notte dopo tutti (It is almost 3:00 am)

Edit: lol I know what the Armenian text means now, it is: We are Armenian, be prepared (I had to translate it from dutch so may not be totally right, but something along those lines razz )

I was just reading back right now and I just noticed that you said you live in Olanda. This whole time I thought I saw you type ORLANDO!

Akh, so now it makes sense that you can visit your relatives so often.
Forgive me, but I'll read and reply to your post tomorrow. I'm far too tired to use my brain in translating everything.

and I replied very late to yours too, so take your time ;p

Nice variety of languages you have there! I'd sure like French and Latin from that like you have. Also a bit of Arabic because my parents speak it, and some Greek 'cause I tried learning that when I was in high school (on my own), but it never worked out so well… heh.

Oh, I see, I see. Heh, I'll be sure to do so when I see that coming. That's pretty interesting. For me, Italian goes through English most of the time though Armenian is my first language. Though only when it gets too difficult do I use Armenian. It's grammar is much closer to Italian than English is anyway. Which is odd…

Heh, but it's cool. I get a good chuckle out of them.

Io non so la parola «rifinirò» (Or anything similar to it).
Così, risposta numero uno:
Avete comprate una casa? È avete dicciasette anni?
O risposta numero due:
Buon'idea. Comprare una casa dopo scuola.
Ma che siete addestrate voi? I'm a bit confused here.

Siete parlate a altre lingue?

Mi dispiace.. My brain fails sometimes.

Bene!
Should be quite romantic.

Nice! You were able to translate that through dutch? Very nice.
Heh, though "be prepared" in my dialect would look like, "Badrast yeghek"
Eh, that's cool.

Oh, and sorry, I didn't mean to come off sounding mean or anything in that last response of mine.
Akh, anyway, my eyes are hurting so bad right now.
Buona notte!

Here's a English version wink

I will end (finish ;p ) my school and then I will buy a house to live. I will try to learn some more but since I do not have a lot of time, because I have to work and I need to train (fitness). I guess you did understand the rest of it ;p

I had Greek on my old school too, but I sucked at it sweatdrop

(Siete parlate a altre lingue?) I don't quite understand (If I directly translate it , it says; You are spoken to other languages?), do you ask me if I talk in other languages (as in chatting, speaking it at home or anything else xp )

Also I translate English through Dutch too ;p And I only knew it because a friend of mine is Armenian :]
I asked him and he said that, but I don't know which dialect he has though sweatdrop
And I wasn't even thinking of that being mean or anything ;p

(It sure is romantic, (has been in a Gondola ride with my GF too whee ) I will leave the details, because if I said you would already know and the effect is kinda gone then sweatdrop I do hope you enjoy that ride when it comes though 3nodding )

Inoltre curioso perchè tu desiderate imparare l'italiano.

I need to work tomorrow, so I will sleep early today sweatdrop
Buona sera!

Actually the last time I was responding, I was having a difficult time coming up with my sentences.. I don't know why, my brain was lapsing especially on that part that you didn't really understand, and it's such a simple idea that I wanted to ask you! Akh, akh :X_X:

Così grazie per la traduzione.
Penso ho voluto dire. "Are you talking about other languages?"
Parlate di altre lingue? (Is that better?)

But that really doesn't matter now that you translated it for me.

It's cool that you've got an Armenian friend there! So we really are everywhere. Heh, heh.

Very nice. Yes, thank you for keeping that information from me. I really would like to be surprised.

Ah, buona domanda.
Realmente imparo l'italiano per due ragioni.
Sì, il mio primo ragione è Isabella.
Io desidero to impress lei. (?)
(I totally babelfished that sentence...)
Desidero viaggiare in Italia perché il cibo, la arte, umm...I forget the other reasons I have.

My brain's been hurting for some odd reason today and this week..
Sorry.. I can't really think of anything more to say.

Take your time.

Ow yeah I was indeed talking about other languages sweatdrop ;p

LoL, Armenian are taking over the world gonk j/k xp

Ahah! Good reasons ;] Impress her, I haven't thought of it that way ;p I just thought you would like too understand her/her parents if they talk about you xp , just kidding ;p

L'alimento, arte e la cultura, almeno è cosa io pensare.

(I really like the culture there, nobody is greedy there, just as in Holland, Also I like the weather there more then here in Holland, it is almost always raining here(That is only if you don't like rain, like me ;p ))
Actually almost all great things come from Italy (I guess you can notice I'm really proud of Italy xp )

Heh, yea… sorry I was just confused about that.

We Armenians sure are! xP
Heh, yet not many people have heard of Armenians. Oh well.

Oh yes, naturally I'd like to understand her and her parents and such if they talked to me. It goes further than just trying to impress her. It'd be pretty shallow had I just done it for that reason. That and I'd like my children to learn as many languages as they can. I speak English and Armenian, learning Italian. So that's going to be three for them from me. Italian from her too of course, and I don't know how she does with Greek, but if she can speak that with them, that that's awesome.
My parents also speak some Arabic and a little French, so I want to be able to learn those too someday. And if I learn those too, then down to my kids that goes too. xD
They be multilingual little buggers, haha.

Si! L'alimento, l'arte e la cultura è tutto magnifico. Ho pensato la quell'Italia e gli italiani sono … the best (how is that said? Something with migliore?)

I've bought so many things that I use everyday and love so much, without realizing they're "From Italy," "Made in Italy," etc, etc.
My shoes, my shirts, my pants, my suits (well, I actually knew of those. xP) A lot of my little herbs and such, olive oil and the like say they're "Products of Italy"
Ho una punta piccola d'Italia a casa mia.

Ah, I wish it would rain here in California more often. It's pretty warm most of the time, but it's finally cooling down.
Ho veduto molta foto d'Italia ed è molto bella. It seems to be very clear and bright. Though I've also heard that Florence is kinda smoggy though because it's walled in by mountains (kinda similar to California), and that it gets pretty hot there during the summer. Not only that but that it's pretty crowded too. È vero?
