As Setsuna enters the village she looks around, making sure that no trap had been laid and then went into one of the houses. She then sighs and goes into one of the rooms where a bed was set in the corner.

Upon walking in she sits on the bed and looks at the desk across from it, gazing at a picture of a young man, that had a few of the same characteristics as her.

~It's been 5 years now and still no luck...~

She then picks up the picture and strokes the frame gently.

~It makes me wonder if I should just give up hope...~

Setsuna then sets down the picture and walks out of the house, without much thought as to what her plans were, she decided to check on some of the wound people in the village. As she enters the medical clinic she walks over to one of the beds and sees that one of the people is healed.

"What?!"

She then checks the others to find that their wounds are gone and their injuries healed.

~How can this be?! They're...healed...? But how?!~

"Out of all places here..."

Saiga was only a few feet behind her, still maintaining his closed eyes and now had his hands behind him, as if fastened. He had a warm and kind smile plastered over his face.

"I admit it's been a while since I've been to Kirigakure, but some parts of this village never changes. What is the reason for your hostile behavior?"

"!!!" Setsuna jumps as she notices the elder man behind her. "Y-You! How did you-?!" ~Damn! I didn't even hear him!~ She then turns to face him and narrows her eyes. "I don't like to hurt the elderly, but-" She then sees his eyes are closed. ~Why is he...? Hmm, I'd rather avoid conflict. There seems no need to hurt this guy..." Setsuna sighs as she looks at the man's kind face. "It's nothing of importance, I just don't see anything indicating you're a mist shinobi, so I find you a threat...Now, why are you and your friends here?" Setsuna at the time keeps her hand on the hilt of her blade, not trusting Saiga completely and also, in case of ambush.

Saiga chuckles out loud in a hearty fashion. He could never have known that Kirigakure can produce such outstanding ninja. Loyalty was something that this age was lacking, so it was reassuring to Saiga that this kunoichi still carried such a trait. However, something familiar about the girl haunts Saiga mentally. He remembered an old friend long ago, and wondered.

"Kunoichi, do you know a person in your family named... Koutetsu?"

"..." Setsuna looks at Saiga with utmost shock as she hears a name she had not heard in a long time. She then smiles kindly at the elder man. "Yes, I do. Heh, I haven't heard that name in quite a while..."

~Clearly...this man cannot be an enemy...to know his name...~

"Forgive my earlier rudeness." Setsuna bows to Saiga. "I am Setsuna Asakura...the man you speak of..." She brings out a picture from her pocket and shows it to the elder man. "Is my grandfather...Does the face look familiar?" She indicates to the picture. "If I may ask, however, how do you know him? And...what is your relation to my grandfather?"

Saiga grinned with his eyes closed. "Unbelievable... so Koutetsu even settled down, too! Ha Ha! Your grandfather was good friend of mine, in our youth we'd often get into mischief at times. I have several friends like him in different villages. Now, what would the granddaughter of one of my best friends be so hostile?Considering I'm just a healer and that the other two shinobi are lost members of this village. How is old Koutetsu doing?"

Setsuna looks down sadly to the floor of the medical clinic, to avoid contact with Saiga's eyes. "...I'm sorry." She turns and walks towards a window in the building. "I'm afraid he passed away...sometime between now and 5 years ago. His son and daughter-in-law are unfortunately gone as well..." Her gaze continues to wander outside.

"I didn't mean to cause any trouble for you or your friends. It's just...this village is low on shinobi. During my times of wandering, I have seen such terrible evil in humans...I find it hard to trust anyone. I suppose, I don't have to tell you these things though. Being a wandering healer, you have probably seen the wickedness of humans...whether it be shinobi or villager. I, too, have never been one to show much honor or loyalty. I ran away from home a few years back...and when I came back the whole family was gone. Apparently they died while on a mission..."

Setsuna, tried to hold back the tears in her eyes, the memory of coming back to the village and realizing that she would never be able to apologize to her parents or see them ever again was too painful. She wanted to lock that thought forever away from her mind and let it never course through head again.

"I truly am sorry. Please, stay as long as you like in this village. Your friends as well..."

She walks past Saiga and heads for the door.

"If you wish...to go see the burial place of my grandfather...He is burried in the cemetery close to the river along side my parents. You just take a right close to the entrance of the village. I have some things I need to do, so please excuse me for leaving so soon."

She then bows to Saiga, "It has been an honor to meet a friend of my grandfather's..." She then puts on a forced smile as she turns and walks out the door.

"I know feeling of losing someone, I lost my grandson not too long ago. If he met you, I'm sure you two would have forged a friendship similarly to what I and you grandfather had, arigatou (thanks) ..."

Saiga bows down in a very respectful manner like one would find from a Shaolin monastery. He had felt a mixture of both sadness and pride. He was glad that his old friend had enjoyed life to its fullest. As long as Saiga was alive, the memory of Koutetsu along with the memories of his friends from various places, will never die. He sets out towards the entrance and takes the right Setsuna mentioned earlier.

Setsuna sighs as she watches Saiga head for her grandfather's resting place.

~I hope this makes you happy, Gramps...At least I was able to do ya a little favor...~

"Well, I guess I better get to work."

Setsuna walks off into the forest, disappearing within its vastness.

(Were you still planning on posting at the forest? I'll be waiting then.)
