"Yes, Abacus?" she responded, tilting her head, slightly confused.

He exited the stretch, one hand resting on his camera. Without bothering to raise it to his eye, he angled it slightly and pressed the button. Click. "Thank you!" he said, offering as low of a bow as he could. He rose, grinning. "I'm sorry for tricking you like that, but you look a lot prettier without the fan."
"On top of that... I now won't forget your words, as long as I have that picture. Who knows? Maybe it'll come out; maybe it'll just be a picture of a brick wall with a small hint of color in the corner."

Biwa immediately blushed bright, squeaking and covering her face with her hands. Part of it was in response to being sneakily taken a picture of. Part of it was in response to the compliment. She squirmed a little. "Um. Um..."
But... she did like his view on the picture. It might come out as only the wall and a bit of color... but that could be beautiful, too, right? Perhaps moreseo, Biwa thought.

Abacus bit the inside of his lip, trying not to laugh at her expression -- he didn't want her to feel she was being laughed at, even though her expression was pretty amusing.
He raised a hand and waved her words away. "Hey, no worries. I'll show you how it comes out when it comes time to develop them. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out, right?"

"O... okay..." She wasn't really sure if that made up for it, but it still sounded nice. She slowly lowered her hands and, in their place, flicked her fan open once more. She looked around, a bit nervously. What did she do now? She felt awkward, because of that abrupt picture.

And flick! went the fan -- Abacus felt successful, despite that. He did manage to get her to talk to him without opening it earlier, for one thing... And, better yet, he managed to score a picture of her without it. Hopefully.
"Well, there's more places for me to wander off to," he said, offering her a wave that was swept into yet another bow. "I'll see you later, Biwa."

That made things much easier, with him taking the initiative to leave. Biwa nodded.
"It... It was nice meeting you," she responding, bowing as best as her sitting position allowed.

Abacus waved a final time and turned, leaving the way he had entered. It seemed as though he was whistling a cheery, jangly tune... but it short as Abacus realized that he didn't know the next line. With a shrug, he continued walking and soon disappeared, in silence.
