"It's no problem at all...most damage it couldn't done was take out an eye...so...I've been wondering...how'd you get them to approve of a red shinigami uniform instead of the usual all-black?"
Not that Shunketsu bothered looking at Aikou's clothing during the huge showdown...the battle itself drew his attention...Shunketsu was curious about her clothing, but he did notice Haro's situation out of the corner of his eye and was concerned about Haro's life, even though he knew he couldn't do much about it...

There he sat, just outside the door, leaning against a wooden support beam, with his sword sheathed, locked against his chest by his crossed arms. Rei could smell blood, and the sensations he felt from the mixed emotions from within'..well....made him rather sick and threw him into a distasteful mood. With a scrunched up nose he muttered to himself the thoughts he had on what had happened. "That captain....and her twin....Bankai.....its so much power..."
"And we want it...."
The boy shuts his eyes, the voice he heard gave him a mild headache with each word it divulged. the wind would pick up suddenly and sway his tattered and worn uniform to and fro, along with his hair which swept across his eyes with an innate gentleness that suggested an animalistic urge had been nigh satisfied, but this was only suggested. "I need more to do....but I've not any clue as to where I could get such a task that I want..." The rough-looking boy would eye the entrance to where everyone was at, shadows scuffled back and forth or held still, but being interacted with all the same which rose a few feelings within' Rei as all his thoughts ran around in his head as he waited on something, or rather, anything. "Its easier to look out upon a graveyard than the injured weak who are on the verge of going there...." he thought coldly before turning his back to the established sector.

(ok this is my 1st official RP, forgive me if i screw up)
After taking the applicant test to the shinigami academy, Kaela took the chance to explore seireitei for a while. It just so happened that she came upon the 4th squad's treatment wards which seemed to be allot busier than the rest of seireitei. She started to wonder to herself if it was even ok to be here. Not even a student yet, no zanpaktou and everyone in the area seemed to be a shinigami. She was still dressed in the red kimono her father gave her, making her look like a noble if nothing else. She tried to raise her voice to speak, "a......" but it was drowned out by the commotion.

Haro's body stayed extremely still as Medixia's vial would indicate an organic poison. But within a few seconds something drastic happened to Haro's body and his skin exploded outwards with the blackness. In a moments notice there was no beige left upon his body. His skin had turned completely black, and the symbols that floated across his skin were white, though at first this seemed a bad thing, it would soon seem that the symbols were changing to a single similar symbol, though it would be unknown to them what it was. He wasn't even sure himself. Then when the last one switched his eyes shot open and he lurched forwards, holding his chest in his hand, the wound where the woman had stabbed him exploded outwards, but not just with blood. The flesh on the inside of the wound was shot outwards, but his blood was adark burgandy, obviously tainted by the poison as well. But somehow, he was adapting to it, and it wasn't effecting him as much. The symbols on his body did an amazing amount of things, they could change his personality in an instant, his fighting style, but he never knew that it could do things like adapt to physical changes. The poison had not suddenly went through an exponencial growth, but his body had sped it up on purpose, sending it through every cell of his body, his innards had even become black along with the dark burgandy blood. His red eye was a little darker, and the white eye with the pupil remained the same. He sat there staring ahead of him, and he was obviously exhausted. "I.....fine...." He murmered as he toppled back again, he was alright, the only thing that now needed to be done would be to sew him up.

Kaosu shrugged, standing back up. "I guess I am sort of useless in this respect." He sighed, looking around. "Bah, I guess I'm shirtless for the time being." He stretched, yawning.
"So, Shunketsu...tell me a little more about yourself. I really...haven't met you yet, neh?" He held out his hand, smile on his face. "I'm Kaosu Ranmyak..." He scratched the back of his head with his open hand. "Hokosaki. Of the Hokosaki clan, apparently. Nice to meet you...formally."

As Hakati was walking down the inner courts of the 4th division, she noticed another academy student walk into the hospital ward for the recent soul reapers who were in battle.
She walked up beside her
"Hi. You look like one of the new students as well. Is there anyone in here that you know?" She asked as she looked at a few of the people on the beds badly wounded.

A swift, white shadow moved into the building, holding all of the wounded from the battle in the Districts. It walked silently, not seeming to be regarded by anyone...
It walked to the center of the room, bearing the noble crest of the Ryu family upon the outer uniform that it wore, Zanpaktou hanging at it's side...It was a man. As that man stood there in the center of the room with those recovering from battle, eye's overshadowed by the snowy-white hair failling infront of them, he let out in a light, yet deep-throated declaration-
"Cowards...You are all cowards!"
A few in the room turned their heads, and some scowled at him...some showed their teeth, one of the medics looking surprised.
"You run back into the Seireitei just because the old man tells you too-You are FOOLS! Have you any idea how those people outside are suffering? ...No, of course you don't. None of you would die to save others-You just run and hide, like the miserable little pets you truly are."
And with that, the hair from his eye's parted as the figure lifted his head...and the man cast another glance out across the room. "Fools...we became Shinigami to save people-Not to blatently obey all of the orders the higher-ups give us...that makes us no more than DOGS! Show some Honor-Those people out there will SUFFER at the hands of this enemy, while you sit here obeying the orders of your masters!! Had the gate not SLAMMED SHUT in my face, just so the commander's little puppies wouldn't have to see the fires of war, I would be out there now FINISHING the job that you fools couldn't even START!!" While his tone seemed arrogant, the fire in his eyes allowed those around him to see that he was not jesting; That he meant every word.
Of course, there was thew worry of how people would react to such a declaration-But he didn't seem to worry at all. Even if there were a reprimand, it was just more words to be spoken to him...and these days, he didn't have much time for them. Not when there were those who were suffering outside of this place...For those were his people out there-Suffering, bleeding, crying out for a savior-But none would come...merely because the Captain Commander, whom he'd been at odd's with since the day he arrived all those years ago, wished not for the enemy to enter their stronghold...guarded by the finest Shinigami that Soul Society had to offer. The Captain-Commander was, in his mind, Truly a weakling...in his very position for nothing but mere diplomatic power. He cared not about those who lay outside of soul society, offered none but those with potential to become Shinigami shelter from the cold truth of the world beyond the walls of the Seireitei...it was a world of war out there-And the Captain Commander merely played the fool, as people suffered in the agony of constant oppression. He was no more a leader than he was a slave keeper...tho even a slave keeper would show his servants some ounce of mercy. The Captain-Commander offered none.
As the man finished his Declaration, he tugged on the edge of his robes, moving back towards the exit of the Medical building...he'd had enough of these weaklings-For tho his sword had not tasted much battle up to this point, his fists remembered the fight to survive in the hell known as the Rukongai...and he doubted that anyone knew of that kind of misery better than he. And perhaps...he was right to believe such-For in the fires of constant war raged within that place, he had once been an Emperor...but no more...no more.

It was as if the words brought Haro back to life. His skin was permanently blackened and got to his hands and knees with obvious signs of struggle, the hole still in his chest. He gritted his teeth as he stood and he looked towards the man whom had just called them all cowards. He shook his head as he stumbled towards him, he was trying to leave, but he wasn't going to let him just say those things and walk away. The white symbols on his body shifted again and slowly the wound on his stomach began to seal up and disappear. He was till stumbling though, and he was still hurt. "WE are the cowards!?" He screamed as he grabbed the man by the shoulders and spun him around to look right into his eyes. Raven's mismatched messed up eyes greeted the man with nothing but hatred. "I didn't see you out there on the battle-field risking your life for this place you son of a b***h!!!!" He screamed. "How dare you talk to us as if we don't know what's going on out there, but we aren't the captains, we don't hold the sort of power to face off against an army with only a few of us. Are you a complete idiot!?" He screamed as he reeled his hand back, noble or not, this guy was getting decked. His hand flashed forwards, right towards the man's lip.

A strong gust flowed through the building, and within a moment, the arm was caught, but no move was made. The wind seemed to anger at this offense-But the man before the wounded stood, un-affected. T'was not the first time he would be struck at by another-And he had doubted it would be the last.
"Fool...do not think that I stand here to fight with the injured, for if I did, I would have drawn my sword and been merry with blood-lust, striking at the wounded as they lay slowly dying, helping them upon their way to the gates of the abyss." And as he spoke the last sentence, his eye's glanced over the figure...this man was gravely injured. While the man before the wounded had no sympathy for those laying on the hospital beds, pleading for nurse's aid, he was not about to sully his dignity by striking this man down-For he could see in his eye's the same kind of struggle. But it did not bring him joy-No. All it brought was a scowl to his face, as he pushed the mans fist away gently.
"I know that your eye's see a man of Noble Blood before you, but that is a mere illusion-A trick played by your un-perceptive gaze. The call to battle was late within reaching my ear's...so you may rest assured, if I was able to, I would have fought to the death, and been but a mere corpse laying within these walls, much like many of the men here today. Do not be so foolish as to brand me a noble bird who flocks away at the sight of danger-For I was once a warrior outside of these walls, now but a chained animal at these inside gates. I am here now before you because I am cursed with a Gift. If I did not have it, I would have been out there now...or dead in the streets. More is the pity that I can no longer choose a fate like that for myself...More is the pity that I am as helpless as all of you."
And as he stared at the man a moment, there was remorse in his gaze-But that lasted for only a moment, and then the steely gaze returned, as the man turned around, "Tarry here no longer, fool...For if you do, you shall catch fever, and be dead by the morn...And for that, you won't be able to blame I." And with that, the man before the wounded drew himself upright from the slouch he allowed himself to fall into, and walked once again towards the door, brushing out of it into the outside world. If fate could play a crueler hand than it already had, he would definitely have put himself to the knife by now...for all of the failure's that blighted his soul.

((brain hurts...lol...))
Shunketsu shook Kaosu's hand as it was offered to him.
"Shunketsu Hissori((being that we're going first name first, I believe...)), of no clan in particular. Surname was given to me by those who knew me best...more out of jest than anything else...it's a pleasure meeting you..."
Shunketsu was never really good with formalities, but he tried nonetheless...what he wanted to say was really "hiya! Name's Shunketsu...nice to meet ya..." but he decided against it...
Shunketsu's attention was then diverted to the man who can come in all raging and screaming...Shunketsu listened to the man's words, but the choice to close the doors was a strategic decision and had a purpose to it...Shunketsu just watched the guy leave...
"psst...who is that guy?"

She stood there bewildered at the thought that these brave shinigami were cowards. They had fought hard and well, and all they received was yelling and harassment.
She turned to the girl standing beside her,
"If this is what we have to look foward to, I'm going to make sure that I can't get yelled at.....because I won't screw up." Hakati said with a stern face.

Kaela stood in amazement and shock at the sights she had never seen before. Her first day was certainly one to remember! As she slowly began to recover from the amplitude of her surroundings. Snapped back to reality by the girl next to her. Kaela didn't know what that man was shouting for, but she was sure she didn't want to end up as a patient like this. She looked at the girl next to her and nodded: "I'll do my best too!"

Rei's ears picked up every word the white-haired man spoke. "He holds so much passion for his cause....." He then remembers the look in the eyes of the people from Rukongai when they had attempted an assault earlier. "They too held a great amount of passion.....are all people with gutter mud around their feet so passionate?" Rei then wondered what he was supposed to be, coming from a hell into a nightmare only to be stalled and wrestled from chaos and most confusion in a purgatory. This thought twisted the boy's expression from mild distaste to spiteful. " Such passion...is an emotional WASTE of energy that could be put to better use."
Pushing off gently from the wooden support beam he had leaned against and made his temporary place of contemplation. "Maybe I can find a captain somewhere within'...preferably not someone like the man with the white hair....I'd rather not step through a field of corpses searching for those still breathing to save.......Captain Aichou may have had something.....but I don't think I'll be seeing any sight of her for a time....judging by how she looked after the battle." The boy walks in quietly, not opening the door completely to get in, just enough to side step in really with his Zanpaktou still across his shoulder, although it was sheathed. He looked about, surveying the immediate area after closing the sliding paper door, looking for someone free he could possibly mustered and gather some information from.

Kaosu shook Shunketsu's hand. "No need to be so formal, Shunketsu. A 'how ya doin' would work just as well. I'm not a noble snob, yet. As for him...no idea." He laughed, winking. When the man came in and so hurriedly left, he gave the man a wonderful one-finger salute.
Then, jumping atop a gurney, he slid to the middle of the aisle. "Everyone? I'd like your attention, please." He deliberately cleared his throat, and bowed.
Then, with the shrewdest, snobbiest voice he could manage, he stuck his nose up and narrowed his eyes. "People of the Seireitei, I have some very important news I would like to share to you all. It appears that a little man who runs away from violence has accused us all, his superior in every way, cowards!" He laughed, hopping off the gurney. "A damned man accuses us of cowardacy."
He slowly broke into a run, and busted through the door. "Hey, you!" He screamed, pointing at the recessing figure. "Yes, I'm talking to you you damned idiot!" He began walking forward again, hurried moments in every step. "I want to talk to you."
Once he had approached enough, he stopped. "In most cases I would ask your name, and then simply chew your high and mighty ear out. But no, I don't ask the names of those beneath me. Merely, I pose a question. No, a challenge."
He sat a hand on the hilt of his sword. "You seem confident in your skills. If we couldn't do a good job, could you agree that you could beat any one of us? Perhaps me?"
He grinned, a light wind ruffling through his hair. "My name is Kaosu Hokosaki, of the Hokosaki clan. I take offense to every last word that drips from your mouth, pondscum."

Haro ran behind him, though he was still tripping over himself, obviously injured. His zanpakutou was upon his back and he narrowed his eyes when he placed a hand upon Kaosu's shoulder. "Kaosu.." He wheezed as he stood there, looking at the b*****d man and then back to Kaosu. "Listen to me...there are few enough of us as it is...we can't go on like this, just fighting each other when he have to pay attention to those we need to fight outside of these walls." He choked as he talked, Kaosu was his best friend, and he wasn't going to see the man acting irrationally or even more so wasting his time with the snobby little p***k in front of them. "Please....just......come back. He is not worth your time...he will learn his place one day." He stammered as he held onto Kaosu's shoulder a little tighter. His black skin was really not growing on him...but he supposed that he had a long time to get used to the new look.
