Haro laughed as he stood there and he shook the man's hand. He had a firm grip, which was always good, because thewre were some dodgy types that had weak little frightened handshakes and who were pretty sketchy. A strong solid handshake showed that this person was good in his books. But when he saw the kid begin to sweat and clutch his book he grinned. "Hey, don't worry, you are around good company here kid. Nobody is going to hurt you or anything." He said with a laugh. But when he looked up to Kaosu he smirked. "I don't have the strength to back it up huh?" He asked with a chuckle. "Funny...as I do remember, I was wearing a 1 on my arm...what place were you mister "I have the advantage because I am faster then you"?" He asked with a laugh as he playfully punched his shoulder. The comment was meant as a joke, not an attack, and was obviously so by the tone of his voice. But in any case, don't worry about anything. We have your back." He said happily to Daisuke.

Daisuke was quiet but slightly bowed to gesture a thank you. "Two Kido spells!?" was the only thing that went through his mind as the lady passed by with the instructions. Daisuke was going to have to work hard if he wanted to graduate. "Excuse me, do you two know how to get to the academy library from here?" he asked Haro and Kaosu not knowing if either of them knew. He stood there with his notebook in his hand and waited for a reply from either of the two men.

The 'lone-wolf' individual, Rei-Huro, awoke to the bright morning sun in the position he had taken yesterday. He felt more relaxed than he had yesterday as the sun basked upon him and the wind seemed to acknowledge his consciousness with a breezy slide across his 'X'-shaped scarred face. He frowned when he heard the group cluttered around the base of the tree. From what he could see a good chunk was there, with one of the newer students, 'Renji', whom he did not know, headed for the academy. "...just another person..." The cold thought raided his mind as he sat there with his lips on his forearm, and his Zanpaktou loosely, but securely, close to his body, propped against him.

"...hmph...They talk big and joke around....none of them being serious about anything....just talking and taking their strength for granted....I bleed and fight to survive and I'm still under them....." He spoke in his mind, the feeling of what was probably agitation spawned from envy restricting all other thought. He grumbled as he stood, suddenly hearing and spotting Korin in her captain's uniform. "....Kidou......A waste of Reiatsu...." He thought, looking back to his classmates. "....just like their speech is a waste of breath.......Outta here.." He muttered the last bit of his thought and then lept from the blind side of the Dormitory, taking his own solemn path to class while the others fooled around. ".....quicker I get there....quicker I can get it over with..." With that, he was off, on a path slightly quicker than the usual conveyed path.

Haruko sighed, wiping off her brow- which now had a decent amount of sweat on it. Although it didn't seem to her like she had been making much progress, it was physically tiring works. She had attempted it nearly two dozen times now, and was still getting just the thin, wispy strands of reiatsu around her hand. She looked thuroughly through the in-depth notes she had taken on the exercise, yet she seemed to be doing everything correctly.

Well then, I guess I just have to keep at it... she thought to herself, holding her hand out in front of her again. however, just as she was beginning to focus her reiatsu, a familiar voice rang out inside her own head.

Haruko focused on her hand again, but this time, instead of pushing all the reiatsu she could into it, she increased the flow of reiatsu throughout her body, storing any that reached her hand inside of it. To her dismay, once again all she saw was wisps. She was about to give up, but then she noticed that the wisps had formed a ring.... and that ring was widening. It widened and spread, until a sky blue glow was covering her entire hand. She released the reiatsu back into her body, a smile wide on her face.

"Thank you, hawk-chan!"

Hawk-chan didn't reply, but it didn't need to. She could tell that the great bird was pleased with her. She built her reiatsu up in her hand until the same, sky blue glow covered it again. Now was the hard part. She had to get that reiatsu out of her, and hold it in her hand...

Haruko stood up, now sweating quite a bit. After another dozen or so tries, she had managed to get th reiatsu out of her, but it just hovered in a cloud for a moment before spreading out and dissipating. She would have kept trying until she got it, however most of the reiatsu she had been using now wasn't in her anymore, and she was nearing the limit of what she could do. She headed back to her room, and pulled a large case from under her bed, from which she moved two rice balls. She looked down at the once large supply of rice balls that was now down to about two dozen, and sighed.

She closed the case and slid it back under her bed, before hopping up ontop of the bed to eat her meal. Hopefully she wouldn't have to eat again before the end of this exercise, as she had no idea yet as to where she could get more food...

Kaosu grinned, unsheathing his curved zanpakutou. "That I like to hear." He had almost completely ignored Medixia's comment, except to sigh and roll his eyes. "Let's get this started, eh? Teach the first years something?"

He laughed, walking out to the middle of the open area. "So let's bring it." Letting his weapon fall diagonal across his legs, he kept a stiff position. "Whenever you're ready."
