The young kit smiled at his older cousin. Family sounded nice, and Uncle Dante seemed just like the opposite of both his mother and father. Perhaps that's why Mother and Uncle never got along too well. "If it would not be too much trouble for you, I would love to take up on your offer of meeting them sometime. Even if I cannot meet with my father, I would love to meet your Grandfather, respectively my Uncle," he smiled warmly at the thought.

His attention turned back to the matter at hand--the missing egg. "I would not mind at all helping out, either, if that is alright," he answered to the Squid-like pirate and blue angelic kitsu. "I have never sailed before, but I will do my best to help," he nodded full of hope.

"-but you never know!" Tuuli protested, Damerion's landing having released her from the Luck's grip, "I've been exploring the lands for a loooong time, and things can pop up out of nowhere!"

Or, uh, squirrels would throw nuts at you, and older, bigger kitsu who had better things to do than listen to kits who thought they were princesses ruined flowers. That stuff.

Well! They were all monsters in Tuuli's mind, anyways, so it all worked out, somehow.

Somehow.

"Sunny could tell you, if she was here," the Kit defended.

"If you think she'll be amiable, Kyoura. Every little bit helps." Rune glanced over at Commander Squall with the look of one who clearly felt derelict in duties she could have taken up at one point or another. "Truthfully? We've never tested them on it. Each are capable of carrying another kit of their size or less for short distances without tiring too much. Together... well they are not very strong but they can be determined. I wouldn't underestimate how far they can go. From what I know to be conclusive," She took a step to the table and started setting out new markers for where the commicators were found and then fanning radiai from that. "They could easily get this far withing two hours on their own with the egg, this together. Of course the communicators have not yet been tested to see how long ago they were knocked from them." For none in their family would casually take out their trackers. They knew better.

But then the others had thought all knew better than to take an egg from its mother too.

Giving Her new friend Sushi a hug and a wink Cedrella bounded over to her 'group' with an eager bounce to her young step. "I wanna be a mate too!" Her eyes twinkled, far too understanding and mischievous for a kit her age. "But the ship kind first!" Her gaze lingered on the Hufflepuff female. "When he says hocus pocus, he means you're a witch too, doesn't he?"

The angelic sailor gave Endless a look of thanks underlayed with a softness, a sympathy that he was not about to voice. "Aye, the lad be right. And he's a stout heart." Russet eyes flicked ever so briefly to Liliana, where she was talking with those of their family that would be heading out with her.

"I think monsters would be fun but kinda scary." Yun said with a shy grin, gray eyes peering around her ball. Adumialmîr looked at the kit with a sidelong glance as Ginny padded over to them. Shy was not usually the Luck's way.

There was a soft, surprised yelp from the fistfighter as he was raised in the air, limbs 'swimming' spastically. His first thought was Hyne! I'm floating! followed by thoughts of pounding the rabbit familiar for any part he had played in teaching Bryna that might have lead to her doing this. "Aaa! Bryn! Paws on ground! Paws on ground!" Then somehow he stopped spazzing long enough to answer the Dusk. "Crystal, right? She's like a real-life snow kitsu. Carrot nose, eyes made out of coal, the whole thing." When the Nobody female let him down Zell would probably hug her with relief.

Hemi? Go away? Doubtful. "Pleased t'meetcha, Era!" Chocolate tails wagged in a 'yeah, we sure have' kind of way. He did look a little pouty that Isidora was not as excited to see him as he was to see her but "Oh yeah. You're right. Search now. We can play later." Releasing Isi of the hug he stepped back, but not before butting gently the back of her jaw with the top of his muzzle.

"Oh wait! That's gotta be Yrre! Yo! Yrre! Over here, dude!"

Rune was blushing slightly at being made a mate, heairng & nodding about leaving soon as possible even as she heard Cedrella putting her own two sents in about leaving and what the kits could do on a ship but not finding she had anything to offer at that particular moment.

Thankfully Remus stepped up, his daughter Liliana beside him carrying a tray bearing four generic junk items between them. "To fascilitate your journeys. As a group touch the portkeys to start at the calculated spots. The broken frog for the Twins & Lucia to get to Moochi's, the reel from a fishing pole to the dock, compass for the wood, oar for the river. I will be apparating those going on the Hiril Anorfalf. Those not desinated for an outward group will be searching within the ring, just in case the girls decided to hide the egg rather than fly with it."

Valis turned to the newest group member, and blushed slightly at the kits comment about being a mate. "Yep, thats what he means" she nodded. "are you as well?"

Davey listened to what had to be said about how far the kits could get and anything else he could gather from the others making a mental map and a tentative course, then turned to the group "Ye all ready ta get started then?" being quite ready to get on the way, he had decided to ignore the oddness of these 'portkeys' having been around Valis and her stories of what magic she could do was enough for him to shrug and bear it, if it moved things along faster he would deal

((*insert my kitsu moving to join the groups around their respective portkeys or whatever if necessary before I have an opportunity to make another decent post*

Endless padded after Davey with a grin on his face, however feeble. So far he rather enjoyed the captain's no-nonsense attitude and good humor. He might actually have been enjoying himself if he didn't feel guilty about how relieved he was not to have see Lily and Ed together now that they'd split off into their search party...

Atae followed Endless with Soot perched on her shoulders, blinking slightly at Davey's statement about "good luck" and not dying. "Well... that's nice..." She wasn't sure whether or not she was being sarcastic... or whether or not to find his commentary reassuring or unnerving.

While Endless and Atae stood near the mast awaiting direction from either captain or first mate Soot hopped down and trotted over to Davey, pawing at his crab claw with one little sooty paw. Soot squeeked and waggled Soot's tails enthusiastically. Soot wanted to help too!

Back at the cabin Bryna set Zell down now that he appeared to have spotted Yrre and floated herself over to Hemi and the newly introduced Sushi, flipping herself upside down and wiggling her armsocks at the fishy kit. "Do you like my amrsocks?"

Meanwhile Shoom appeared to have heard himself being talked about and released Zell's arm only to zip over and make himself into a bizarre little hat on Hemi's head. "Shoom has new friends now?" Zipper grin.

Sushi looked from one kitsu to the next as they were introduced to him. So much more than he was used to, and so much bigger than himself to boot! But he was glad he was in a group, it made finding things much easier.

He looked up soon at the floating kitsu named Bryna, he liked that name, and her armsocks, grinning widely.

" I think they're awesome! But how do you fly with no wings?" He cocked his head to the side, his own wings fluttering lamely on his back. He couldnt even fly, but that was because he had never used his wings before, he always kept them flat against his back. So the ability to actually fly without wings, intrigued him.
