Due to how deep the wound was, Hana's progress wasn't very impressive. However, she did manage to make the wound stop bleeding and now all that remains is to use her chakra to coax the patient's cells to regenerate quicker. She increased the flow of chakra into her hands, but not enough to hurt the patient.

Hana had managed to heal another large wound a couple of minutes later. The patient was visibly better now, though he seemed a bit impatient at how slow Hana was taking the healing process. She almost wrinkled her nose in disdain. A trainee obviously would take longer than a full-fledged medical ninja.

Hana had managed to half-close one deep punctual wound but the blood vessels were refusing to regenerate. Thus, she poured a bit more chakra, hoping to get the muscle and torn tissue to reconstruct. If she had done it correctly, her efforts would be rewarded by the punctual wound being properly closed up.

The second punctual wound proved to be more stubborn than the first and Hana only managed to heal half of it in the same amount of time it took her to heal the other. She sighed to herself before willing more chakra to pour from her hands, making the mystic green aura surrounding her palm darker in colour.

Having finished now that the scratches were properly closed up, Hana breathed a sigh of relief. Her first experience with healing patients using her chakra went fairly well. It took longer than it's supposed to, however, but Hana thought it could be safely assumed that with experience it'll take her less time.

After warning the patient that he'll still have to rest for a day or two before doing any strenuous work, Hana washed her hands, ridding the patient's dried blood that clung to her fingers and wiped them dry before rolling down her sleeves.

((Okie dokie. So I assume Hana will live in the clinic now, right? =3 Guess I'll just wander around the village and find something to do.))

Hana indicated a slight nod at Duke's words. Of course, she was far from being done with her medical training but learning the most basic technique was a start. Since Duke left, it would be pointless to stay inside the clinic. She could always gather the poisons later; right now she has to pay a visit to the Otokage and ask him about missions. Afterwards, she can wander around town and find something to do...

Instead of using Shunshin no Jutsu, Hana used the door. She had used quite a bit of chakra for healing the patient and she needed time to recover. And, since it had been such a long time since she returned to the village, Hana also didn't have any money with her. It would be a good idea to complete any mission, even if it was D-ranked, and earn a bit of money. She would not trouble Duke with her living costs; she would earn it herself.

When Hanafubuki returned to the clinic, Duke was already there. Even though she had been running for a good deal of time, the red-haired kunoichi was neither tired nor out of breath. She swiftly laid the body on a medical examination table (the sort used in surgeries). Without a word, she walked off and began to gather different tools; scalpels, surgical scissors, scrolls with blood prints, and etc. Duke would fairly be confused about the scrolls with blood samples from all of Otogakure's occupants, past and present but if Hana's suspicion was correct... She had an idea of where to start looking for some clue to the spy's background.
