For her first attempt, it was lucky or at least went better than learning the Kawarimi. The kunai did not hit dead center but she did not entirely miss, either. Instead, it landed on the second circle. Elruda walked over to the target and pulled out the kunai easily before returning to her previous place. The moonlight now gently illuminated her thin form, making her raven hair even darker than it appeared in daylight. Suddenly, she broke into a run to her previous position, and twisted her feet to suddenly about face the target. All in a second's notice, she threw the kunai at the furthest target.

This time, she did hit the center. Good. It seems I won't have to use the Byakugan. She thought. Well, I'm probably too tired to keep it up for long, anyways. With that, Elruda walked back again to the target and once more pulled out the kunai. She walked a bit further than her previous position and once again aimed for the first target her pale eyes landed on. The kunai sliced through the night air and...

It hit dead center once more. However, instead of rejoicing, Elruda felt more determined than ever to complete her teacher's quota. She would show him, that she wasn't a Hyuuga for nothing... She will definitely grow strong, train harder and harder, and someday return to see her home village. Free. Free of the Fire Master. Free as it was before. Elruda broke into a run and stopped at a place even further than the previous position, she hurled the kunai knife with one elegant sweep. This time the kunai...

...fell short of the second circle and embedded itself into the third. It wasn't that bad, she had at least still managed to hit the target. But it's not good enough... Elruda thought to herself. Such aim would not help me in battle. Without losing more time, Elruda returned to the target and once again pulled out the kunai knife. This time, she moved to the same position as her last and once again threw the weapon.

This time, the kunai made it to the second circle. Better... She thought. But I still must hit the target once more to complete sensei's quota. Elruda ran back to the target and pulled out the kunai knife. Once she had freed the weapon from the wood she ran back, this time further than her last position. She did her best to focus on the center of the target and hurled the kunai once again.

But this time, she entirely missed. Elruda gritted her teeth. She would have to try again. With that, she ran to the bushes a little off from the target and searched for the kunai. She found it easily because of the moon's gentle silver light, reflecting from the kunai's metallic surface. She grasped the weapon and rushed back to her previous position. With that she hurled the kunai at the target once more...

And this time, she successfully hit the board. It was a bit off from the center but she had still done well. That went well... Better than before... Elruda thought to herself. "I'm done, Wrath-sensei." She murmured. She felt pretty proud of herself. Three completed Jutsus in one day and progress with kunai practice. If she could maintain this level of success, she will have no trouble later on, when learning more advanced techniques.
It can't be that bad... She thought. Hyuugas may be terrible at ninjutsu but our chakra control is supposedly excellent. I should at least be able to learn the Jutsus well enough for use. Since Ninjutsu is out of the question...should I ask sensei about Genjutsu? Nah...I don't like the idea of using illusions. Taijutsu, perhaps? But Byakugan would only be useful with Juuken. And I don't know any advanced Juuken techniques, cross that, I need to find an older Hyuuga for that. Maybe...Medical Ninjutsu? Elruda briefly wondered which path her shinobi road will take, there were so many choices to make...

"Good." Wrath replied. Wrath stood there watching her for a moment which seemed kind of weird but then he dashed toward her, picked her up, and then dropped her into one of the holes that wasn't even thirty feet away. After he heard her hit the bottom he began to speak, "Now your gonna have to get out on your own. Focus your chakra into the souls of your feet and walk up the wall and out." Wrath remarked. It turned out she was going to end up in a hole by the end of the day anyway.
Roll one solid 20 to escape.

Elruda scowled. Liar! He promised if she could master the Jutsus, she won't be stuck down here. And mind you, this was MUCH worse than being tied to a pole, as she saw some Genins back at Konoha get captured by their Jounin teachers. But now, it wasn't the time to sit and meditate. In fact, why the hell didn't she just juuken him before he threw her down the pit? Oh, she was angry, all right...he's going to regret it...once she gets out of here.
With that, Elruda looked up. Hm...it's pretty steep. I won't be able to get out of here unless I use chakra. Now...I watched Genins back at Konoha learn tree-climbing... How'd it go again...? That's right...focusing chakra to my feet. With that, Elruda focused her chakra to only emanate from her feet. Even without the Byakugan, she saw a slight glow indicating that she could now try climbing.
"He's going to SO pay." She growled, taking a step.

"Rats!" Elruda had used too little chakra and had fallen flat on her behind. "Now that hurts..." She mumbled, gingerly rubbing her sore spine, which stung from the impact of crashing into the ground. It seems she wasn't hurt too badly, except for a bit of bruises here and there. "This is going to take a while..." She muttered.

Elruda had fallen again but she hadn't expected to master climbing with chakra that easily. She was fortunate, though, she managed to grasp a protruding piece of rock to lessen the force of her fall. Certainly, she still got bruises but it was better than breaking her bones.

She was alot closer in her last attempt but still no where near the top. Unfotunately, she lost her balance and fell back to rock bottom. "Not yet." She muttered. "I'm not giving up yet... I can't..." Focusing more chakra to her feet, Elruda started climbing once more.

She has to admit that it wasn’t going well. Elruda knew immediately as she covered less distance than her previous attempt. The training from before had taken its toll and she wondered how long before her chakra ran out. But she isn’t giving Wrath the satisfication of knowing that she can’t escape before nightfall. With that thought in mind, the Hyuuga set back to climbing from the pit.

"s**t." She cursed as she fell again. This was NOT going well. Her sensei won't just leave her here for the night if she doesn't make it out by then...right? Surely, he can't be that cruel.
Then again, she only met him so it was best not making any assumptions.

"More chakra!" Elruda murmured to herself, concentrating harder. "I was closer...I have to try again!" Determined more than ever, Elruda set herself back to climbing out of the pit. One foot after another... Like that... She thought.
