Raven seem to freeze in Donovan's arms before she realx turning to face him. Hiding her face she shook her head "My mother would have killed me and made you all watch. I couldn't allow her to do that. I wanted you all to be safe, I wanted you to be safe." falling quiet her metal nails wrapped around his arm just about his elbow "So I dealt with her, allow her to destroy the girl you know."
Stepping away from him she looks up at him with her gray serpent eyes "Guin is dead Donovan. She is no more, she died by my mother's hands. All that is left of her is what you see before you. I have taken on a new name, I go by Raven now. I can never go back to Guin, too much has happen to allow it." looking down she wiggles her metal fingers.

Devi didn't take offense. On the contrary, she smiled in her wicked way, and said, "Of course, just don't let it get around, alright?"
"Well, you'll forgive me if I don't call you Raven," Donovan replied, watching Guin. "You'll always be Guin to me, no matter what."
She sighed, and rubbed his forehead. "I still wish you woulda reached out to us. What your mother did to you might be worse than killing you. . . ." He didn't mean it to sound mean, in fact, he sounded a little sad about it all.
