Raito watched Raine in interest. Had the boy seen him? It's not like he was trying to hide or anything. He watched the boy a bit longer before calling down to him, "What is it you want Raine? Can't an old man find peace in these serene feilds by himself?" A faint smile crossed Raito's thin lips as he spoke. He didn't look any older than 20 to be honest. He continued to sit in his comfortable little spot in the tree.

"Yeah sure an old guy like you can, just not when I'm around" Raine smiled and stopped as he reached where Raito was sitting in there tree. Quickly his smile faded,"Hey what happened to you? Yesterday I mean?" Raine sat down on a small branch that had fallen into the fields, it wasn't very strong so it fell beneath his wait. And he splashed into the water, completely falling under. He stayed under in surprise for a few second than surfaced slowly. His hair plastered in front of his eyes.

A smirk crossed Raito's face as Raine made his come back to his words. A sweat drop could scarecly be seen as his head turned away at Raine's question about the day before. "Well..." Hearing the sound of water, his head turned back. Of course, the sight of Raine rising to the surface looking like that made Raito laugh so hard he fell out of the tree with a thump! "Gah...damn my luck..." He said as he lay there next to the tree truck with his legs in the air against it. Groaning he looked upwards to Raine, Little brat better not laugh... "Well...I suppose even us old men have our goofy moments, huh?" Smiling a bit he fixed himself upright. Leaning, now, against the trunk of the tree he looked at Raine. "So, what brings you over here to my Tree of Wishes?" Raito hoped that his little episode would get Raine to forget his question. He wasn't really in the mood to talk about how he got beaten by a damn kid. Since the opponent was younger that is.

Raine smirked as Raito fell but felt bad because he new it must have hurt a bit. "Oh I'm here because I'm training." Raine said wiping the hair out of his eyes. He stood, and didn't make any attempts to dry off, He had given up earlier that day. Raine stood tall because he was proud that he had been caught training on his own, Raine wasn't exactly modest.

Raito sent a smirk to Raine, "Doesn't seem like you're doing very much right now. Getting lazy? Shall I place you back to normal Academy Classes? You know, I don't like having lazy kids in my class." Raito stood up and stretched, reaching into the bag he had brought he held out a small towel to Raine. "Here, not good to get all wet and get sick. Can't have you missing class. You'd miss too much." He had seen what little the kid had been doing with kicking the water, and sighed. "A bit of advice, when you kick the water, don't do it straight down or try to do it horizontally. You should try bringing your leg up more and going at an angle. But, that's only if you want to go through things a bit quicker. If you need to try and kick up as much of it as possible, try putting your leg completely straight before kicking, raising your leg straight up like that would bring a lot of force out of the water." Raito's words could be a bit confusing, and his methods seemed to have no relevince, but he had many ways of doing strange things and being good at them. "Good luck with your training. I'll help if you need it."

"Ah, noway! I'll train extra hard!" Raine calmed down when Raito handed him the towel, Raine wondered why Raito would carry around a towel but through the thought aside and listened to Raito's advice. He understood most of his words, and tried another kick. Testing the new strategy. It was hard, but Raine could feel a bit of difference in speed. He looked down into the water and anallized the movement, it seemed better. "Thanks." Raine said looking up into the man's eyes.

(did you forget to do the trainging or did you stop? XD if you are continuing its a +4 to your rolls from the advice)
Raito smiled at the kid as he sat back down and relaxed. It was kinda fun to watch the kid. It was like he was watching the next generation of ninja. The generation he was helping to create and make strong. In all, he was. Entertaining though it was, he couldn't help but help the kid. Raine kind of reminded him of his old Genin Team mate. Always trying to train to get better, but secretly desiring something more. At least, that's what it seemed. For a moment, earlier, Raine had seemed a bit depressed about something. Mourning? Or perhaps wishing for something he didn't have? "So, how old are ya, kid?"

( I didn't think one kick could count as training)
"Me I'm eight." Raine said as he started kicking, again. Remembering to train extra hard. He used the new technique and it worked very well, the strain was less on his leg so he felt like he could go on for a while. Raine was really happy from all the help he was getting, From Hatchi and Raito. I will be the best, so no one will ever have to die painfully. I'll protect them. Raine thought smiling in his antisipation.

"Eight, huh? Still to young to die then," Raito said, teasing. He hadn't gotten to mess with anyone since he got back from his mission the other day. He'd been planning and colaborating a training scedual for the twerps he'd be stuck with in the Academy. He groaned to himself as he realized he'd forgotten to get a piece of paper and pencil to think out what he'd do the next day. If anything he can send a signal that there'd be late class today? But then again...The kids do need their own time away from school. They may be a day behind everyone else's school but who cares. Kids are kids. If they want to graduate early they can come to him and get some training themselves.

Raine thought about Raito's words, "You're never to young to die," Raine felt the clover hanging on his neck, his brother had been 15 when he died. "For something you love." Raine finished his words, with the Tekkenseisai, family. In his clan dying was actually a goal for some. The way techniques killed it's users. He wasn't afraid! Or so he thought, the past day had really made him think about the subject. But nothing could keep him from protecting his friends and family. Josh what would I know I'm just a kid," Raine thought, kicking again, but not quite concentrating.

Raito's smile faded as he heard Raine's words. "Smart answer. Perfect for a shinobi. But wrong for a kid who still has a chance at life." His face soon melted into a stone-like feature. Memories of his friend came back to him. Raine was more like his old buddy than anything. Especially with those words. Perhaps time would repeat itself again? Hopefully not...Losing your life at the age of a teenager just to protect an injured enemy ninja...How much more stupid could he be...Raito always thought that his friend would go down without a fight. Guess he was right. He didn't want that fate to be handed down again. "You should keep to your dreams for the future. Plan on getting yourself a girl to settle down with. But I guess, even for that, you are too young." His smile returned with those words.

Raine blushed a little, And than his face turned angry "What do mean I'm to young to get a girl!?" Raine yelled happily, kicking even higher than he had before causing him to lose balance and slip in the mud. He put on a shocked face and dosed himself and the towel completely. "Oh, man again." Raine had forgotten about Raito's comments and began kicking once again, looking into the blue eye's that matched his own.

"Too young is too young, that's all you need to know," His smile even broader now. The two young ones from earlier sure put on a show. Hell, if they were a bit older Raito could have had a bit of fun watching them like that. But, unlike that old Orochimaru guy from the legends, he wasn't in to little kids. He sighed and looked over towards the forest. The two had left already. Maybe to have a little bit of fun in the woods by themselves? Dirty kids, what were they thinking these days. Taking the towel from Raine, he went back up into the tree and hung it on one of the thin hanging branches to dry. "It should be done when you are through."

"Um yeah," Raine said not really knowing what Raito meant. He went back to kicking, the sun had risen higher so he wasn't as cold. His hand lifted to the necklace and felt it impressions. He had done it so many times the copper had become shiny and the top coat had all most worn away. What's up with sensai? Raine thought getting used to the word 'sensai'...

"I'll let you finish up here, if you'd like?" Raito said, looking down at Raine. His flash of memories and the thoughts of the two in the forest were clouding his mind. If the kid was done with him then he could just head back home and sleep some hours off the day. He sighed and looked back down at Raine, "I...have some kind of important things to do at the moment." Thinking about those two in the woods kinda got him....'up' And it wasn't waking up he was refering to.
