I want to say that this is incredibly well put together. I mean, if Penden's seal of approval doesn't say it all...

Just a little hole. The description for the Fighter Class ends with "keen on using..." That's it. Using what? It's easy to reason out that Close Range Weapons are being referred to. It's all so good, so I just want it all to look amazing.

Bio: Tristan was a model citizen under the new order of the world. Well, as much of a citizen as a teenager cared to be. He was a willing participant, being too young to remember an alternative, in the system. Great student, multi-talented, creative, hard-working... a never ending list of positive adjectives permeated the young teen's life.

Unfortunately, his bright mind would lead him astray, at least in the eyes of the powers that be. As effective as the filtered media was, an inquisitive mind eventually comes to some logical conclusions about the way of things. This is why Tristan, a young child of the system, was able to question the government and its policies.

In school, learning about how the governance came to be what it was, Tristan would question the ethics and principles of the order. He did not disbelieve in the system; he simply did not understand why some things were the way they were. His teachers would give him an answer out of the teacher's handbook on handling such premature insurgency, and he would politely retract his question. They would also file a report on his behavior.

Tristan asked many questions, and his teachers filed many reports. Little surprise, therefore, when the powers that be flagged young Meredith as a potential risk.

Eventually, his good natured questions flagged him as a potential Insurgent. He was jailed, pending heavy questioning and a dose of media immersion (read: brainwashing). In the cell he was placed in, there was another man.

"What are you in for?" asked the gruff but friendly man.

"I ask too many questions in school. They think I could be... one of... the Insurgents, but I'm not. You?"

"I hang out with suspicious people. They think I'm an Insurgent."

There was a silence. Tristan felt the man's gaze on him, pressuring him to ask for an answer he was taught to fear. Tristan was a good, Insurgent fearing citizen. With trepidation he asked, "...are you?"

The man answered softly but with urgency. "Yes. But don't say it out loud. They," he pointed out of the cell towards their captors, "don't know that yet." There was a small pause, as the man contemplatively studied the boy's face. "Why aren't you?"

The two engaged in a hushed conversation on the way of things, where Tristan asked all of the questions that he could not get straight answers to in the classroom. The man singlehandedly crushed everything Tristan was taught to believe in. Tristan wondered if he ever really believed in the whitewash he was sold.

So when a few clinks were followed by smoke pouring into the room, their cell door opened, and amidst the yells of officers trying to contain the situation he heard the man's voice, "Come on!" he hesitated only for a moment. He took the man's hand and was led through the smokescreen to an exit onto a back alleyway. They climbed a fire escape on the adjacent building, broke a window and entered the building.
They went to the hallway of the tenement building they had entered, and climbed to the roof. They saw officers running out of the door they had escaped through only minutes before. The man had goggles with a red tint around his neck. "We can't stay here long. They'll find us quickly." The man motioned for him to follow as he ran away from the scene towards the roof of an adjacent building.
"Hey," Tristan called, stopping the man suddenly. "What's your name?"

"Addison. Addison Cross," the man replied calmly. To Tristan, Addison looked almost heroic. For a second, he considered his decision of running away with the man but was interrupted. "What's yours?"

"Tristan. Tristan Meredith." Tristan looked Addison straight in the eye, and both smirked.

"Well, Mr. Meredith... welcome to the Insurgence." The two jumped the gap of the adjacent roofs and fled.


Appearance: 5'6", 63 kilos, Brown Hair, Brown Eyes. Caucasian.

Hmph. Nothing really distinguishing about the character physically. I guess he'll have to stand out with striking fashion choices.

Bio: Ezekiel isn't really his name. He changed it before he turned 10. His mother was part of the board, and his father was the first to join the insurgents. It's funny but his father and mother were perfectly fine untill they started putting chips into people arms.

Nothing made sense to Greg during his first couple years of insurgencey. His father never spoke of his mother but he knew she was looking for them. Well one day she did...

It was brutal, and she just sat and watched. When he stopped twitching she turned and left, the guards continued to search out and kill any insurgents that were still hiding, but Greg was able to escape.

He found other orphans and rejects and began to form an organisation, a group of pirates. They called themselves the White hand, liberating people from the clutches of the Illuminati and the new world order.

He recently left his home of Ontario to come rally a resistance movment in the states. And where better than New York. His skill with a gun is unparaleled and his tactics are best matched by that of high ranking generals.

He knows no one in New York and without a chip he can't go anywhere, so he spends his time in a hidout near grand central station, hiden amongst the tracks.

He's taken as many precautions as possible to avoid being found as his absence is surely noticed by now in Guelph, his home town. They will be looking for him, unfortunately they don't know where he's gone. but it will soon be time to resurface and gather the resistance under the banner of the White hand.
