The theif runs across the roof he's on, and springs across toward the other side, but falls just short, catching himself on the edge. He begins to attempt to drag himself up, but looses his grip and falls. "Aw, s**t!" Fortunately for him, he's not that high off the ground at that point. He drops to a crouch, and then takes off again off to one side.
[He's only about 80' away from the party at this point. Bo, you can make an attack with no range penalty. Anyone who still wants to pursue, this still puts him in range for that, too.]

Mags growls as he sees the man fall from sight. Damn it, this is more trouble than it's worth. As Mags runs towards the place he jumped off, Mags makes his way towards one of the edges, attempting to see if the thief went to that side. (Spot +9). Either way, he decided it would probably be easier to continue the pursuit above, attempting to leap from roof to roof. (Jump +5, DC 25)

[Sorry, should've specified: He took off across the street and into the next alley, where there are no such convenient boxes ready for him. To follow along the rooftops would require jumping across the street. That's more like DC 25.]

Unfortunately for the theif, even with all his ducking in and out of cover and doing his best to watch his back, the bolt still hits. Bo, roll damage.
For simplicity's sake, I'll let you know this guy's AC is 23 right now, 19 if you can get close enough to negate the cover.
He seems to have no intention of stopping. At least not yet.

Ignatius takes off down the alleyway, hoping to use his improved speed to catch him while he's on the ground. Tearing around the corner, he pauses for a quick second behind the Hobgoblin before raising his club in the Thiefs direction. "Stop! You shadowy brigand!"

Sarjak gets back down off of the roof in another leap, and growls as she sees the thief get to the alleyway and be hit. She sprinted to him once again to try and catch up. "Vile thieves..." She muttered.

The theif looks behind him again as Sarjak and Mag get right on his tail. He takes keeps running, and attempts once again to lose those tailing him.
[Once again, +7 Bluff, +9 Hide, but the two of you do get attacks of opportunity against him. AC is still 23 against this, unfortunately, because he has Mobility. May I suggest grappling?]

"Got ya'!" Mags takes a dive, attempting to grapple the man (+6 Grapple, 16 ATK). However, he underestimated the distance and fell short, landing face down on the ground.
((Well, I missed. Hopefully Iomma can catch him. ^ ^; ))
