Silas watched as Victoria made her way over. He closed his eyes for a moment because they were so heavey. He hadn't slept in days. He had a mild case of insomnia. When he opened his eyes again Victoria was sitting next to him. This only comforted him a litle. She didn't want her telling him the pain will go away. The physical pain might but the emotional will always remain. He was about to tell her to go away but she had said something about ham. He cherished ham so much. His mom made the best ham every christmas. "Ham, you say?" He said almost swallowing his tounge. "Come on. let's go eat." He said. It took all his strength to get up from the floor. He walked over to a chair and sat down. He carved some ham off for him to eat. He tasted it and it was amazing. But of course not better than his mothers.

Victoria was glad to see him up. She was going to go eat but she didn't. She didn't want to eat until all of the others had some. She wanted the others to eat well, she didn't mind. She cared about them more than she did herself.

Leon ate some of the ham that jason had snuck in. He got up and started to walk around the orphange as he saw Victoria."Hey Victoria" he said waving at her and walking towards her.

"Hey Leon." Victoria said waving back as he walked over to her. She still held her arm and thought it could be broken but ignored it. She always hid her pain from the others.

Leon kneeled down infront of her and looked at her. "You alright" he asked her a bit concerned. He looked at her and knew that she wasn't alright but he still had to ask.

"Um....yeah i'm fine." she lied. She didn't want him to worry. "Is everyone ok? If we get caught with the ham...well what they've been doing to us will be nothing." Victoria said to him.

"Yeah everyones fine and haven't you eaten anything?" he asked. He knew she was lying when she said that she was fine. He extended his hand towards her as he waited for her to take his hand.

She went to take his hand but when she let go of her arm it stung so she quickly pulled back. "No....im not that hungry, I'll wait till everyone has eaten. The younger ones need their strength." she said fighting back the pain.

She nodded. She knew he was right. She quickly let go of her arm and stood up. The second she stood up she had to hold her arm again. She had bite her lip so that she didn't cry out. She knew there was definatly something wrong with her arm.

Leon looked at her grab her arm. "Whats wrong with your arm" he asked a little concerned. He tilted his head and looked at her arm.

She was going to lie again but she knew it was obvious now. "I'm not sure. It started hurting after....well our normal abuse." she confessed.

Leon looked at her a bit more but he knew that it was going to happen eventually. He looked at her arm a bit and then squeezed it gently."Does that hurt?" he asked.

She tensed up when he touched it. She just nodded her head to answer him becuase she wanted to cry out or scream but she didn't want to worry anyone. She new if she opened her mouth she would have screamed.
