The mare looked at him with a raised eyebrow and chuckled a bit. "well then I suppose Im special enough to warrant not seeing that side of you since you dragged me from the bottom of the lake." She smirked and narrowed her eyes lightly. "You're splitting hairs. Grinning from you is nearly as rare as a smile, But I shall wait. You'll smile someday and I'll catch you in the act. So you watch it mister." she said Flicking her tail at him, much in the same way he had done to her previously.

Raum nipped at her tail as she flicked it at him. " pffft i doubt it Sierra i never smilie for anyone." slipping right next to her he shrugged. "i suppose i have to agree but then im never much of a agreeable stallion or so im told."he found it easy to be close to Sierra, and learn more about her like he wanted but in turn she was learnign about him but he wasnt thinking about the what ifs that could come from getting too close.

Sierra Watched him and grinned, she would rise to the challenge he set before her. "You never smile for anyone hmmm? Well One day Raum, I'll make you smile. Just you wait and see." She nodded her head and grined at him, amber eyes alight with all that made her Sierra. All that spunk, grace, and tom boyish charm. She would rise to his challenge, he'd smile someday.
"We'll I'm sure you're not agreeable with everyone, But I like you just fine anyway." She said in an almost off handed manner. "Besides, You saved my life, how could I ever forget you?"

Raum raised a brow at her" oh really? the day that happens is the day i devote myself to a mare which isnt happening since so far mares are nothign but trouble." her spunk and tom boyish charm was geting to him, and makign him like her all the more. " oh ho ho we have a winner, someone who actualy likes me, the world must be ending." nipping at her, he moved away from her again while glancing back with a smug look. " im told im not one to be forgotten, i leave a last impression."

"well you can take my word on it Raum, Im going to make you smile one day. Even If im an Old nag by the time it happens, I'll see a smile grace your handsome face at lest once in my life." she said with a chuckle. It wasnt because she wanted him to stay with her, although she found the idea didnt scare her, or make her feel funny. In truth Raum was the closest thing she had to a friend outside of her large family. She smiled at him and pressed her head to his, trapping his forelock against her forehead as she stared him down, "And its a challenge I wont back away from."

Raum held back a smile that could have came to his face. her actions, words, and personality pulled at him which was why he was inclined to stick around her, to learn even more about her. " well then i guess your going to have to follow me about if your to try and win your challenge of making me smile." his golden eyes had a almost play glint to them. " and if you think saying im handsome will get me to cracke a smile your gonna have to try harder."

Sierra Shrugged her shoulders and smirked lightly as she watched him. He was playing it cool, but she knew he was happy. And boy wouldnt he just love having her follow him around. She smirked and shruged her shoulders, taking a step away from him. "We shall see Raum, we shall see." She looked at him, a serious look crossing her playful features for a fleeting second. "And when I called you handsome I was telling the truth." The mare flicked her tail and moved to lay down in the shade of the near by tree, a grandmother williow who's leafy bows seemed to just barely whisper over the babbling stream.

if having her fallow him around ment he could get closer and learn just about everthing about this mare then yes he wouldnt mind at all. really she was the only mare he tolerated outside his mother and sister. he almost wondered if she was messing with him when she had said she was sayign the truth that he was handsome but he jsut barely caught that split second of a serious look on the normal playful mare. " is that so.. well your now just flattering me." following her, he flicked his tail and gave a toss of his mane.

"Well everyone can usea bit of flattery now and then." she said with a shrug of her shoulders as she laid herself down in the cool shady grass. Her tail flicked once, a streak of ebony against the sea of green before it pooled to lay around her like a part of a living shadow cast from the canopy above. The mare streched her long neck for a moment to n** softly at a blade of grass just in front of her nose. "I consider you a Friend Raum, and Im no so crule as to make fun of something like that. " She said, that serious look returning to her face for a moment, only warmed by the bright smile she wore.

Raum really only had one friend and he was a stallion. there was no mare friends because well he drove them all away. " oh really, then you wouldnt hold it against me if i said your pretty?" slowly makign his way over, he then laid near her but not too near. " really you really conceder me a friend?" never did he think a mare would say that to him. again a smile threatend to show up and so he wrinkled his muzzle which looked odd.

"Why would I hold that against you, Besides coming from you thats more of a complament than normal." She said with a light chuckle. Raum looked like he didnt know quite what to say, she knew he was a bit taken aback that she considered him a friend. Sierra smiled at him and nodded her head. "Yes, I do consider you a friend. " She thought she saw a flash of a smile on his face, but didnt say anything. No she would need proof of a smile before she could win.

" fair enough" Raum wasnt use to this so he hardly knew what to say now. giving a grunt, he looked away from her before speaking again. "i guess i have to admit, that i consider you a friend as while even if your a daydreamer who has stallions saver her all the time." he rarely would ever admit something but he felt he could trust her, and say just about anythign he wanted in any fasion and she would get pissed at him. glacing back over to her, he wondered what she would say now.

Sierra smiled at Raum, he was opening up to her. Even if it was only slightly. She thought of him as more than a friend she realised. A companion, though she didnt really understand why. Maybe because he wasnt family, and because he had saved her life. She watched him quietly through Amber eyes and with a quick movement moved to lightly press her muzzle against his cheek. Soft velevet chocolate caressed against his cheek for a fraction of a second.
She smiled at him and giggled softly, it was purely spontanious but it seemed right.

Raum's eyes went wide with shock when she brushed her muzzle against his check and even giggled after doing so.he couldnt help it, a smile actualy came to his lips though he had tryed to keep from it but it came anyways. and as he smiled, he quickly gave a short nuzzle back with out caring. slowly he was realizing that he was starting to like her even more and that if she where to stick around him more often he wouldn't care.

Sierra didnt know what to expect from him after her actions, but a smile was a welcome reward. "well now, I suppose my quest is over" she said with a giggle as he brushed against her she blinked, but didnt shy away. Welcoming the sensation, she pressed back against him, content to lay beside him cuddling in the shade.
