coughing and splutterring pyro slowly began to notice his conciousness. "and the fires of heaven burn, and the mountains drown in water, so shall the earth burn, you, Pyro are the Fallen God of Triumph, you, pyro, will burn all." the words echoed through his mind
"it was him... it was someone who is a great enemy of mine. his name is quake, he controls earth element, like i do fire. he guards an ancient temple. he destroyed the vehicle and tried to kill us. I, Pyro Echidna, am... a Fallen God. i lost all my powers when quake gave his prayers to the Gods to banish me. he must be planning to kill me..." pyro wheezed out the last words before rising.

"He banished me on the grounds that i was destroying his temple. he is trying to kill me because i hold... this." pyro cupped his hands infront of him and unleashed a small inferno infront of him. and there, driven into the ground, was and axe, diamonds in the shaft and a sharp craggy edge. "this is Quake's axe. as long as i hold this i can feed of his cintrol of earth and make volcanoes and chasms." pyro closed his eyes and let out a long breath, before unleashing several small blasts of fire, followed by one huge blast. he heaved the axe out of the ground and showed psyniac how it was different, the axe now had a spike on the end of its shaft, which was longer. the spike seemed to resemble a flame. "i combined the power of my spear with his axe. if i can round up my other `freinds`, black aqua and tornado, aswell as defeating 2 more foes, skyfire and leafrunner, i can create the ultimate fusion weapon."

Psyniac reached the small clearing and looked around. Ahead of him, hidden behind many trees, was a pond. He looked back. Neither Pyro nor Wolf had followed him. He headed forward and sat on a rock by the small pond. The pond had a cleanfilm-like layer of deep green alge resting on the surface, and looked unihabitated by any animal, even though he was sure there was something in there, somewhere.
He picked up a small rock and tossed it into the air lightly, catching it, and repeating this motion, thinking about Pyro's new mission. Pyro had always been there for Psyniac... never turned his back on him... Psyniac knew the day would come when he would have to help Pyro, but this was nuts.
He looked up from his stone-throwing to see a girl*, about his age at the other end of the pool, sitting on the floor, her back against the tree, sobbing.
"Hey, you ok?" Psyniac called over to her. She didn't look up, she hardly moved. Her whole body kind-of shook, as she probably didn't even realise that Psyniac was even in the enclosure with her.
Casually chucking his rock away into the pond, the hedgehog began running around the small pound when there was a loud screeching sound. He turned to face the alge-covered waterhole just in time, as a large snake-like beast shot from the pond, chucking water over Psyniac.
"Aw, crap..." He sighed, charging his Glow Gloves "WOLF!! PYRO!! HELP!!"

But Psyniac had already grabbed the girl's hand as was off like a rocket, shouting: "WAY AHEAD OF YA!!". But the beast was fast, not to mention huge and was still towering over them as they run. "Pyro, take the girl!" He yelled to his friend, letting go of the sobbing victim and charging a glowing ball of white fire in his hands.
"The whole outer-body is covered in super-tough scales...but what about the inside?" He yelled to no one in particular as his Sorcery charged.
Timing it right and firing it the white fireball into the beast's open mouth, the creature let out a roar of, what seemed at first, pain. But only a split-second after "swallowing" the magic, it spat it back out in masses*. "CRAP! GO, GO, GO!!"

Psyniac extended a hand to his fallen friend and helped him up. "Pepper? How long has it been since you called me that!?" He laughed, patting his friend on the back. "You alright, though?" Pyro gave Psyniac a small nod. "Good. Just before you went out cold, I came up with an idea. Those scales that protected it's body needed to stripped off before we could attack it. I couldn't think of anything with such force to do it, but then a thought occured to me." He turned away to reveal the girl that he had found earlier. "I asked her if she knew any magic, and get this - she's a water element! She just blasted pretty much all of the scales off in one go, it was CRAZY!" Psyniac shouted enthusitcally. "So, then, I charged a couple of Holy Bombs and sent it back to where it came from." Psyniac looked at his friend. Could he possibly be impressed? "I think we have someone to thank, though." He turned, once again, to the girl.

"you're right, psyniac." pyro said, kissing the girls hand. "thanks you... for everything."

"well i suppose we better get going." said pyro, juggling a few flames on his fingers. "next we better find the cause of that creature... Black Aqua." the flames winked out as he made his hand into a fist.
