Also taking a step back, Kuval made a cringed expression, and shook his head suddenly. "They seem.. very aggressive. Who would something so small.. be so angry?!" With a snort, he laughed suddenly, finding another mystery to the strange land!
He looked back towards the ocean, and above it held a orangeish sky with a fading sun. "I was wondering if the brightness had toned down, it seems it is very late.." He was sort of surprised, that time had gone by that quickly. "I don't want to stay on the shore too long if it gets dark, so it might be best if we head back soon." With a reassuring nod, he walked toward the water, and felt it slip at his hooves. There was something about water that just, felt perfect, and he loved coming back to it after being away on the shore for so long.
"We can always come see the flowers again." he then said, in case she was worried.

With a cool rush, she submerged her body, and then her head, into the salty water. Once underneath, she finally opened her eyes and allowed them to adjust to the salty water, and her body and head fins wiggled with glee as they became reunited with the current.
The light was darkening over the sand and shells scattered across the ocean floor. Once again, her body felt weightless, but the water's resistance pulled against her as she walked, still following behind the stallion, only not as close as she had above the surface.
"I did have a pleasant time," she remarked, musing over the day's occurrences. It had been an adventurous day, but, like every other day, it must come to an end. "Thank you... Kuval." she said quietly. Pakpao wasn't used to feeling gratitude towards anyone, so it was yet another big step for her to thank the stallion who had given her the nudge to have a brighter outlook on life.
She could see they weren't far off from her home territory, and the sun was racing them as they continued on their trek. Darkness would fall, and Pakpao would return to her small cavern near her resting rock, and away from any night predators that might roam the ocean while she slept.
Her thoughts went out to Kuval, and it was then that she realized she didn't even know what area he lived in, now that she had discovered he was pondless. Would he be able to make it back to his home in time before it got too dark?
"You're.... you're more than welcome to stay with me, until the light of the sun returns," she said timidly, feeling awkward with the suggestion. She hadn't meant anything amorous in her offer, though thinking back on it now it would appear she was coming on to him. "I.. I just don't want you running into anything bad like a shark or whatever... not after you were so nice to me today."

Kuval's face was priceless. He stared at her, completely stunned and shocked. He tried to shake his expression off, but it was hopeless. He needed a moment to take in the beauty that was that moment.
"I would love to stay here, with you." Cuddling up close to her, he then pulled away, not wanting to do too much towards Pakpao. He still wasn't sure what she was thinking, but he tried not to worry about it too much.
They had finally made it to her normal resting ground, and Kuval was still a bit shocked, but was also overly happy at the same time. He had no idea that Pakpao would ever offer such a thing, so she stood next to her, enjoying the happiness while it lasted. "Thank you." he said, while then putting a quick nuzzle in.
And they stood their, now in the darkened water, sharing a moment that no one could take away. Kuval had never been with someone for so long, and he cherished Paku like nothing he had ever had before.
