Adora sighed, figuring that she didn't trick Frostbite with the false illusion of a leech.
"Lessons? Well... uh... It's nice of you but..." She didn't know how to put what she was thinking into words. She knew that her mother cared about her enough to offer them, but she didn't really want them.

FrostBite sighed, "if you dont want them then dont beat around the bush, you really need to be more straight foreward. It hurts me more when you say: "um, uh, and erm"." FrostBite wadded around a bit in the water, "you build character and confidence when your not avoiding the truth."

"Sorry?" Adora said, shrinking back a bit. "I just don't want... lessons on how to trick people. It was nice of you to offer...."
She wondered if what she said was worse than the 'uh, um, er'. Maybe Adora shouldn't have said anything at all. Now she was a little scared on how her mom was to react.

"Psh!" FrostBite splashed the water. "Well of course you dont!" She waded around some more, "your way to timid to want to know how to pull pranks!" FrostBite herself didnt like falling for practical jokes but if it was her doing onto others than it was fine. "Besides, I didnt really mean it!"

Adora shook some water droplets out of her hair, relieved things didn't go worse. She breathed a sigh of relief and splashed around in the pond a bit.
"Too timid to know how to pull good pranks is more accurate. I still have fun pulling bad ones."
She gulped a mouthful of pond water and spat it out at Frostbite.

"Ew!" FrostBite ducked underwater avoiding the spat water and came back up. "Do you know whats in that water?" She laughed. "Little fishies and "leeches" go in that water!" She wagged her paw up and down, with an old ladies voice she said, "that was very innapropriate of you young lady! Apologize immediently!"

"Sorry!" Adora spattered out immediately, though she was greatly amused on how quickly Frostbite went from being playful and hyper to an old motherly figure. No wonder her sister was worried when her mother came around though.
"But there is no leeches in the- I mean, do you want to do anything else?"

"Yes there is," FrostBite pointed down with her paw, "theres always some at the bottem of a fresh water stream or pond!" She waded around a bit more and smiled, "I dunno, did you have anything in mind?" FrostBite didnt have a lot of hobbies.

Adora quietly swam to the edge of the pond and lifted herself out of the water. Her paws were getting wrinkled from being in the water too long.
"Do you like to do anything that doesn't involve water?" She said, shaking the pond water out of her fur. She also took the liberty to shake off a stray seaweed that clung to her back.

FrostBite swam out of the pond as well and shook off the water. "Uh um er..." FrostBite paced around in a small circle thinking of stuff she liked. "Erm... I like to eat, sleep... oh! I like to..." FrostBite lost her thought and continued pacing, "now I remember! I also like to run!" She pranced about happily.

"Eat and sleep? Doesn't everyone like to do that?" Adora stretched her legs and stared at Frostbite. "But... I'm not exactly fond of running. I'm such a slowpoke."
Smiling, she glanced around at her eye caught the tree that she was diving off of earlier. "I like to climb though. Whether it be trees, rocks, or things that humans build."

"I'm kind of afraid of heights..." She looked at the tree she had climbed before, "but so long as its above water I'm fine, something that wont break my bones if I fall." She walked over to it and started to climb it once again, "well lets go, Slowpoke!" She paused for a moment, "er... whats your name again?" She asked embarressed.

"Adora." The said Ulaya replied, her paws searching for firm spots to push up on. At least her mother had tested the jumping earlier, so she didn't have to worry about breaking bones while diving into the pond.
Slowly but surely, Adora scaled up the tree, eventually leaving Frostbite in the dust.
"Who's the slowpoke now?"

"Alright, Adora, my bad!" She smiled and flicked her tail side to side. "Well I would be the slowpoke if the case was that I hadnt already choosen a branch to lay on thats nice and low to the ground." And indeed like she said she was lieing on a branch that was low and over the pond. "Might want to check what people are do'n before you give some sass!" She winked and smirked.

Looking down, Adora's paws began to slip from their grip on the tree bark. She yelped and jumped at the nearest branch so she could talk to Frostbite without falling.
"I can help you to the top if you like. It's a lot more fun up there than down there. See?"
Grasping onto the rough edges of the bark, she continued to scamper upwards, using the occasional branch as support.
