The black stallion shifted on his feet as he racked his brain for an idea and then practically jumped in excitement when one came to his mind. "Oh! I know! We could race or play tag. It would be a good way to warm up our legs from the cold water." he suggested and hoped that she didn't hate running otherwise he would have felt really stupid for coming up with the idea.

"Those sound like fun. I haven't played tag since I was little." She said as she finally started getting the feeling back in her legs. "I used to play it with my mother, and sometimes with the other foals I met." She added.

"I never really played it too much but I watched one of the Soquili I live with play it with his son a lot when he was a foal." he said thoughtfully and feeling a little embarassed. The only time he every played such a game it wasn't a game since he had actually been running from danger.

"I hope to teach my foals all the games I know, and maybe make up new ones." She said with a grin. "But that won't happen for sometime." She added. Slowly she stepped closer to him, until she was just close enough to him, to bump him with her nose. "You're it." She said grinning broadly, before whipping around and began to gallop down the beach.

"I hope to teach my own foals what I know, one day. But I don't have any so it will have to wait until I have some."
Dustin stood there in suprise at her sudden sneaky trick. "Hey!" he called out to her with a laugh and took off after her, pumping is slowly warming legs the best he could while they were still slightly numb.

Calantha ran as fast as she could in the soft sand, kicking up large sandy clouds behind her. Only when she had run quite a ways down the beach, did she chance a glance back at him.

The black stallion followed after the mare, kicking up sand clouds of his own. He found it rather difficult to run in the soft sand as it tended to shift underneath his feet, but that was all part of the fun. He noticed her glancing back at him and just grinned and tried to go faster.

Calantha saw as he sped up, slowly catching up with her. She glanced back again to grin, before putting on another burst of speed, her wings tucked in close so they wouldn't drag her back.

The black stallion watched as the mare ahead of him slowly but surely pulled out ahead of him again. She of course must have been used to running on the sand more so than he did. "Stupid sand!" he cursed and tried again to go faster to gain any amount of ground.

Truth be told Calantha was struggling in the sand, wincing as she stepped on a large rock buried in the sand. But that wouldn't stop her, she loved to play games, and rocks were not going to stop her. But running in the sand was much more tiring than running on solid ground, so after a while she began to slow, partly tired, but also because it was more fun if you could chase and be chased.

Dustin saw her slow down and took the opportunity to try and gain just enough speed to catch up to her and tag her playfully. "Tag your it!" he called as he nipped at her mane and quickly tried to turn and run the other direction. But this ended up with the stallion almost falling over none to gracefully.

Calantha had spun around as quickly as her legs would allow, not as gracefully as she would have liked, she ended up pushing herself around with a flap of her wings. Only to see that she wasn't the only ungraceful one. After fighting back a giggle, which ended up a snort, she bounded after him, almost jumping the first few strides.

Dustin spread his wings to regain his balance before taking off away from her. Looking back over his shoulder, he could she her coming after him and also caught the amused look on her face as she had seen his ungraceful moment. "Catch me if you can!" he called to her before looking back ahead of him so make sure he did not run into anything. That just wouldn't be very good.

She galloped after him, running on the wet sand closer to the waves, since it did not give way like the dry sand. Only when she had closed the gap a bit, did she run back onto the dry sand, kicking it up behind her. "I'm gonna get you." She said as she lowered her head, sprinting forward.

The black stallion didn't see her cunning move of running on wet sand to gain distance and speed. He kicked his heels in the air and tried to pump his legs harder at her prompting. "We shall see about that!" he called back while glancing and noticing that she really was gaining on him.
