Harper stared at her. "This has a radio too." He said blankly. He smiled at her and shrugged, "Your moms on crack! Sounds to me like she just don't wanna keep up with the times!" Way to go being sensitive Harper. "I think my mom got this from one of her friends, I can see if she can get you one too?" He suggested helpfully, though if would actually be able to pull off such a thing was yet to be seen. Guess he was just in a giving mood.
"Almost there?"

"Really? That would be so cool. I don't know though, Mama says they're expensive," she added, making an odd face. Oh good, there was the sign. She pointed to it and shouted, "Yep!" The door was decorated with a polka dot confetti of pale yellows, reds, and blues, and the inside was similarly kiddish. Manuela reached for the door, struggling a bit to pull it open with just one hand.

"I doubt she payed for it." Harper said with a snort, while trying to help her with the door. "Ice cream!" He declared happily, "I wonder if they have double chocolate fudge disaster." He mused out loud, giving the place a deep look.
"Hey! Is that a photobooth!?" He promptly declared, though itunclear where he was mentioning.

"They probably do," she assumed, trailing off when he suddenly shouted. It took her a good look before she noticed what he was talking about, a bright red booth plastered with promotional pictures and frame options. "Oh cool," she shouted, moving over to check the curtain in case someone was using it, "You want to try it?" The booth didn't really look big enough for two people, but considering the silly expressions on the promotional pictures that was probably the point.

"You don't want to get ice cream first? Probably get my clothes sticky, though, so before is best... Hey, do you have money for it?" He shoved his hands in his new pockets and pulled out some of his money - a twenty left, a ten, and a bunch of ones. He gave her a shrug and then clamored into the small booth, still holding out his hand with the money in case she needed some of it.

"Yeah," she told him, skimming her finger down the list of prices, "It says two dollars for a strip, so for two it would be... Four." Noticing he had taken out his money she pointed to two of the ones, "I'll put in two and you put in two, ok?" She had already extracted two dollars from her pocket, and started to climb into the booth where the slot was. As she had thought, it was a little bit cramped, but she was able to sit beside him, just barely on his lap.

"Alright!" Harper exclaimed, struggling to shove his money back into his pocket. "When does it start?" He asked, giving her a sort of dumbfounded face while scooting a bit to get comfortable.
"Wait! Dose it warn you?! Do we gotta pose?! What's gonna happen?!"

"I think it flashes a few seconds before each shot," she told him, pointing to a little light bulb above the screen. There was a big green button that said start, and after inserting their money it lit up. "You ready?" she asked, "I think it takes four or five shots so do whatever you want." Manny guessed the first one was just going to be her leaning on him smiling, but it was supposed to be funny, right? He'd think of something.

Harper grinned at her. "Alrighty!" He declared, using his hands he smashed his lips together, crossed his eyes and made a fish face at the camera. "Sss-silly I guesh."
Apparently fish faces make you talk funny, too. He nudged her with his elbow to try and edge on a silly reaction from her as well before the picture flashed.

Manuela seemed a bit confused when he made the face, and instead of making one herself she was turned sideways looking at him when the first picture flashed. Shoot! She laughed, that wasn't a great start. "Bunny ears," she shouted, wrapping one arm over his shoulder to put a set on his head.

"Whats that?" Harper quickly asked, not having a clue what that meant. He had a better idea anyway, despite the set of bunny ears on his head, he went to attack her stomach with tickles right before the machine took the next shot.

As soon as he touched her she burst out laughing, nearly kicking him in the head as she tried to wriggle away. The light flashed and the next picture went, but she hadn't noticed. "What -- next?" she asked in between gasps for air.

"Well, judgin' by the pictures on the walls, we gotta do a nice one. Sappy girl stuff.." He grinned and gave her a big hug, doing his best to hold it till the picture took.

Sappy, sappy. Ah, like the stuff on those made-for-TV movies. Not having a second thought about it, she turned her head and kissed him like she'd seen. That was plenty sappy right? Like, it usually got that "awww" sound. Unfortunately she didn't understand the real meaning, and had Estelle seen it she probably would have fainted.

So, of course the picture after the briefly cute moment would likely be that of Harper crinkling his nose up and wiping his face off.
"Hey!" He yelled indignantly, of course not nearly upset at her as he was now quite embarrassed and bright red.
