stupidity_in_action [Green] stupidity_in_action Punk's gotten waaaay too overcomplicated. When people ask me what Green Day is as far as music and style is concerned, you know what I say? 'Green Day is Green Day'.

WHY!?!? It's the truth! I say that all the time... xd I hate people that like a band cause of it's genra and rufuse to listen to a certain bAND CAUSE IT'S NOT their image. I think it's sad since most bands it's hard to classify just what they are (excupse the damb cap locs)

The Gerbil stupidity_in_action Yah, well, I'm usually hyped up on something (sugar, caffine, vaikadin...) when they ask, so I'll act all stoopid. I hate people that like a band cause of it's genra and rufuse to listen to a certain bAND CAUSE IT'S NOT their image. I think it's sad since most bands it's hard to classify just what they are (excupse the damb cap locs)

1039.hours I don't think HE killed it. And they were never punk. i just like to call them pop/punk...cause i mean insomniac came real close to having a little punk sound in it. and they sure as hell arent pop...so yeah.

Am not gonna bother posting, you can't really get through to some people. yeah i know that trust me confused I was in the official punk thread in the independent music subforum, and i swear those people deny green day as even being punk. they hate them simply because they are signed on a big label. i tried to convice them that green day was the most punk band i've ever listened to, but i was only called a moron and was flamed. rolleyes boy what a fight that was. you just cant talk to those people.
Cept when they're covering punk songs and Governator.
So when you're in the Punk Thread kids, follow their guidelines to bands and stick to the sub genres, apart from emo. Emocore, not emo.
