Elruda had no trouble when it came down to waking early, the Hyuuga elders were especially picky when it came down to time. After finishing her breakfast, she followed her teacher and waited patiently as he showed her the next assignment. So. Now it was disabling traps... If she doesn't want to get injured further, she should be careful. Well...I don't want to waste chakra using Byakugan, either. She decided.
With that, Elruda set herself upon figuring out how to disable the trap.

((Ehrm...I don't know if I did it correctly in this post... O_o))
Elruda looked upon in surprise when she accidentally triggered the trap. Two shurikens came flying at her, she was able to knock away the first with Juuken but the second one closely followed... There was no way to dodge it!
((Moderator comment: Roll the dice separately. And you disable the first step. But it resets so roll again. You must get 16 or higher this time.))

Elruda winced as the shuriken slashed her cheek and embedded itself into a nearby tree. She was lucky, it did not wound her too terribly and the injury was a mere scratch. Elruda gritted her teeth. She would have to be more careful. With that, the girl set herself back to disabling the trap.

s**t! She thought as two kunai flew towards her. She braced herself for the attack, knowing it was too late to dodge or use Juuken to knock them away. This was going to hurt and she knew when this assignment ends, she would be lucky if getting away with only a few scratches.

Elruda winced as she gingerly touched her left wrist and arm, which she had used to shield her face from the onslaught. It hurt but the kunai hadn't done too much damage. Closing her eyes and trying to ignore the pain, Elruda pulled out the kunai, with a pained grunt. This was going to be a hard, long day. However, she still continued to experiment with the trap.

Elruda shut her eyes, expecting more shuriken to fly at her. Nothing happened. Huh? She thought, blinking. She had managed to disable the trap. It took her a bit to recount how she disabled the trap correctly last time but her next attempt came out successful. Good, now that's over with. She thought to herself.

When Elruda finished the exercise he quickly put the contraption away back inside his uncle's shop. After he came back he picked up Elruda again, lugging her over his right shoulder once more, and took her back to the training grounds.

Wrath had once again carried Elruda to the temple since she was unable to cross the lake. However when he set her down he simply told her to go back to the library and read for a while and when she felt she was done she could come back out. Meanwhile, Wrath would sit outside the temple to meditate.

Elruda did as she was told and settled upon getting some reading done. She decided that she want to know more about Amegakure's shinobi (since Wrath and Tatianna were the only ones she met). The book she read a day and night ago only briefly mentioned a few famous figures in the present Amegakure. Normally, the young Hyuuga would not enjoy reading biographies but today she decided to make it an exception.
Plus, her wounds were only half-healed so it was a good idea to rest for a bit, anyways.

When Elruda had left he found a comfortable area near the front steps of the main house where he could meditate with only the sounds of nature. The atmosphere was filling with a very calm and fluent energy that was acting like the flow of the lake that sat not too far from Wrath.

The longer Wrath meditated the more he was feeling a strange bond with the area. He was feeling a strong spiritual connection with his surroundings. Noticing this he began to realize why the first elders of the clan chose to build the main house here. It was absolutely amazing.

Wrath stopped meditating after only a few minutes which was a little unusual since he typically meditated for an hour or two. However the time depended on where he was and how he was feeling. When he stopped and opened his eyes he rose to his feet and walked closer to the lake. He began to focus his chakra and then he made a few hand signs in a rapid succession and then it started to happen. He was trying to perform a jutsu.
