Yeah, but it's kinda odd that the same people from all over the world keep running into each other.
Kinda like Vantage Point with the main characters always running into each other throughout the events. ( not counting the flashback POV switches, of course )

Try the King of Fighters series if you want a really messed up story line. (Also the Guilty Gear series has a weird story line, kind of awesome, but weird.)

It just helps show that when they designed it, they really thought it out, meaning they didn't slack on effort.
However it can backfire. They might put put more effort into a story and slack on the gameplay, etc.
But really, just " The same people keep fighting each other in these weird tournaments all the time. " just doesn't make sense.
At least in SC4 you can make a Dominatrix.
Female Voice 6, I think, and using Ivy's fighting style.

I like SC's story because there is no tournament. KOF is weird 11 games at one game = one year and not a single character is older.

I like it when a game has a seperate line of enemies for each character instead of the same line. That way it feels like your getting to know each characters story instead of "This is what happens if this guy won"

WHat'd be weird is if they go with this for the next SC game:
A paradox occurs where every character succeeded and failed, creating a realm of chaos where there's 2 of everyone, 1 to wield a Soul Calibur, and another to wield a Soul Edge.
The ending is universal:
Bad ending: All the Soul Edges combine. The total power is so ungodly it can't contain itself. The universe is destroyed.
Good ending: All the Soul Caliburs combine. The total power is so ungodly it can't contain itself. The universe is destroyed.
Special ending: Ivy dominates Siegfried and Sophitia walks in and goes, " Room for 1 more? "

Taki runs away, pursued by Toki. Toki has an assistant, Geki. Geki has his own asisstants, Gaki and Doki.
Yeah, they must've been having a slow day designing that story.
Bonus plot:
Taki fights Toki.
Flawless victory unlocks an ending with Taki, Toki, Geki, Gaki, and Doki all doing the Hokey Pokey.

Star Wars isn't star wars without either a) difficult or b) cheesy dialogue.
I mean, just look at ANH. All the dialogue is cheesy. But in a tasty, mozerella kind of way.
