When Sonic was announced I had my suspicions and with todays update I feel a bit more justified in them. Odds are Sonic will become one of those who gets knocked fairly far, fairly easily. With the speed he's displayed in the trailer shown, and the evident height of his recovery move it seems to be the logical balancing point.

Tatsuman Wizard of Light1 Hmm, my theory is that when sonic is using Spindash, it's probably have the same control as jiggly puff when she rolls, which isn't very much. Then again, you saw how flexible Sonic was in the trailer. And Jiggly puff is a little rolleyes If you know what I'm saying. Nah, his Spin Dash has virtually no charge time. That's what the Charge is for. His B move is still a mystery though...
AND HOLY DAMN, DID YOU SEE THE HEIGHT OF HIS RECOVERY MOVE!!!!!!???? Wow. That's high... That would be scary, too: brings you that much closer to flying off the screen.

Sonic is one of the best things to happen to the SSB legacy! Edit: I haven't seen the Recovery move. Link please? Anyone?

All of the recovery moves look over powered maybe sans Meta Knight and Kirby, but they have Multi jump

If he's as fast as he looks, that should be easy enough.

Maybe matches will last longer in Brawl because of better recoveries? I think it's pretty obvious that Sonic won't be all that strong, and he'll be pretty light.

Hmm, Sonic may be like Pikachu. Light, Strong, but not always being what you might want him to be.

As well, a question. Do you think the Original SSMB was better, or Melee?

Wizard of Light1 Yes! And once I have Pikachu and Sonic in my hands, who knows what will happen?! *Dreams of What will Happen* *Comes Back To Reality, or Whatever This Is* Yes! I must have it! lol, I've seen this before. This update is meh since we saw all this like 7 times in the video. @Tatsuman: Yea but I'm sure it will be a lot lower in the air cuz there is no ground for the spring. [EDIT] I watched the cid again and when he does the spring it looks like it doesn't go as high when used in the air. Looked about as high as Game'n'watch's firemen jump, which is still pretty high. Did you guys notice in the vid yesterday with all the characters that Yoshi's final smash fire gave like 20% a second? Looks like final smashes will truly be painful...

He was fairly light. Plus, the Don uses Ganondorf :XP:. I've been pretty good at dodging attacks for a while.

Eggs.com @Tatsuman: Yea but I'm sure it will be a lot lower in the air cuz there is no ground for the spring. Yea, but holy s**t. He jumped higher than Falco or SSB Ness with all three of their jumps with just his Up B. That is really impressive.
