I'm currently playing Octopath Traveler, a throwback JRPG for Switch. It's right up my alley and is selling quite well.

I've heard the name, with all the buzz it's been making. Haven't paid much attention because I'm broke, and there are things I want already. sweatdrop

same story, different post. ^_^ The thread you linked was just a conceit. Something to let me brag about posts I enjoyed. As such, I invite others to do the same.

That was a great fight scene. The choreography was very clear; I knew where the fighters were and how they were moving between beats.

I enjoy fight scenes the most- they are frantic with action, and allow you to give minimal details to anything that you don't want to. the important bits are the actual fight and the motivations themselves. I can fall into that moment of frantic action and passion easily, particularly with music. It is really fun when the mood strikes and you can dive into such.

Yeah, I lifted something the wrong way years ago working for Walmart. The pain wasn't so bad, so it was assumed to be a pulled muscle or something similar. Across a couple weeks, it became so bad I couldn't walk without help and only laying down alleviated any of the pain. Such took the weight off the spine, so the issue was largely halted that way. Because I didn't report the injury that day however, Walmart never helped me with a bloody dime. I told the store manager "I can tell you where it happened, when it happened, and I know it is on camera." Too bad, so sad, no help.
That was something around 8 years ago I want to say. even now, my back will occasionally fall out of place. It takes a bit of work with the chiropractor to fix it, and the stupid thing puts me in agony. All told, its at about 87% of where it should be normally. Staying off of it as much as I dare. The bones are back in place, but the muscles got tense and sore from the issue. It takes them the longest to relax and stop hurting.
Ugh. I hate getting old.

Wow, that's really rotten of them but sadly not surprising.
Years ago my mom developed neck problems, and it was really striking how long recovery took from going too far one day. I've gotten a pinched nerve in my neck once or twice, and I can only imagine what it'd be like having to deal with something on that level for a protracted period of time.
My metabolism's slowed noticeably this year, so I'm battling the bulge after a lifetime of being able to eat whatever i wanted without gaining a pound. Granted, I've been pretty sedentary since college...
