So, three gravity cannons, each producing five shots, with re-rolls on their to wound / glance rolls, backed up by Hurricane bolters at 250 pts.

I think I just found my next anti-everything but lightly armoured hordes unit. Plague Marines and Wraith Knights beware.

Salvo 3/5, but seeing as they are Slow and Purposeful, they get their five shots at full range. Did some rolling and these guys should be able to take down a squad of Plague Marines in two turns of shooting tops. Or a Wraithknight in one salve, easy peasy.

Seems like Tyranids, with their myriad 6+ saves would endure best against these puppies.

Tiny critters, sure. But monstrous creatures don't stand a chance with their 3+ armour saves. If three Centurions open fire, on average seven to eight shots hit, of those, especially with the re-roll, there's a good chance that six to seven will score wounds, more than enough to drop said monster in one salvo.

Just fill in the barrel with putty or greenstuff and drill it again after it dries. Presto!

I don't have any of that stuff, haven't felt like buying any. I spose I should probably get some...But I'm in no hurry really, it's not like I'll be able to actually PLAY any time soon.

Gravity cannons are an optional upgrade, they normally come with twin-linked heavy bolters and chest-mounted Hurricane Bolters, with the option to upgrade those to missile launchers. In their original configuration they can easily munch through those units, no hassle. emotion_omnomnom

Which is not suprising, considering how easy it is to kill a tank anyway.

Well, graviton weaponry can only hurt a tank on the roll of a 6, so it still takes some shooting to take down that Land Raider or Monolith. Then again, all you really need is one hit, as that's an automatic immobilized result, hur hur hur.

Then again, fifteen shots at say, a Land Raider..

Okay, two hits, that leaves us with ten dice to re-roll.
