Allens blush covered his face as people around in the crowd either sighed loudly and moved on or laughed. He lowered his head to try to let his hair hide the oh so obvious embarrassment. He rubbed his forehead as he approached Caleb, "E-Excuse m-me..." He pulled a bit of money from his wallet and tried to stuff it all into the machine with a shaking hand. Well crap. He took a deep breath, scrunching his nose and letting it out slowly before trying the money again.

Rose wasn't sure what to make about the whole spectacle, so she kept her mouth shut and moved over to all the Pokemon that she had cal,ed down, and started giving each of them some Pokemon food. and generally just sitting amongst them and socializing with them.

Caleb raised an eyebrow. Never had he seen someone so flustered with a vending machine.
"Is it not taking your change? I hate when that happens." Caleb took a bill out of his wallet and stuck it in the money slot.

Allen's eyes shifted violently when Caleb's hand moved to put the money into the machine to give the most intense look he'd ever given anyone. Ever. His eye twitched ever so slight and he just swiveled in place and marched straight to the train, Lydia looked back and forth to Allen and Caleb, slowly her face went from confused and bewildered to a wicked grin with a faint cackle. She swung back in forth in the air for a moment before drifting off after her trainer.

Caleb pursed his lips. Well alright then. Clearly Allen was a big boy and didn't need any help.
"Think I'll just wait for the next train....yeah...that sounds like a plan..." he muttered before stocking up on refreshments and then going to explore the little train town.

Coming out of her room, Rose was accompanied by her new ice/rock Pokemon when she spotted Brian "Oh, Hello" Rose nodded in greeting.
"Maura...Amaura" the little Pokemon pranced around her feet excitedly.

Rei's Zubat heard shuffling in the common room. She urged her partner awake, who had dozed off again on his research papers.
"Hmm? Whazzat? Oh... Hey, Countess." She bit his ear in response and made swooping motions to the door.
"Something going on?" he asked. The little bat nodded patiently.
"Oh. Well, let's see what the fuss is, then," he said, taking the hint and opening the door. At the common room of the hotel, members of Team Aqua were chatting.
"Hello, group," Rei called out, waving his greetings.

OK guys, it looks like there's some Pokémon theivery going on in Striaton City. Seems like a classic Plasma maneuver. So let's head over and see if we can't mess with Plasma's plans any.

Rei's brow furrowed upon the mentioning of Team Plasma.
"Those terrorists again? I sincerely hope they aren't off blowing up buildings again," Rei muttered darkly. He joined the group making their way to Striaton City, doing his best to keep a level head, the Countess gliding silently behind him.

Caleb walked into the hotel with his Marshtomp. Both of them enjoyed a nice cold beverage from one of the vending machines down the street. Caleb suddenly stopped and stared when he saw the Amaura prancing around Rose.
"What the f-" Caleb began. Marshtomp elbowed him. Word of terrorists caught his sensitive ears. Caleb was ready to protest some more about the icy dinosaur, but he would have to wait.
"We'll meet you guys there..." he suddenly announced, giving a wave before rushing upstairs to his room.

As the team crossed the bridge and entered the forest, Rei considered how little he knew the town he was about to go assist.
"If you guys don't mind me asking, what's Striaton like? I haven't really had time to go check it out. Anything worth knowing?"
