Adam Looked away slightly. "Umm, yea... about that..." He looked back at Sammy. "Why don't you believe what went down during Arekku's little spell?" Pun always intended.

Sammy squinted a bit. "Because it is impossible," she said simply. It was obvious the real answer would most likely sound stupid to him.

"I do not want to explain," she muttered. She then looked at the time. "I should be going... Bye Adam!" she said, racing off into the woods.

Adam sighed. Impossible? It couldn't be... He looked around the beach, before taking off into the sky. He had to be going aswell.

There's no such cat in the metropolis, who holds all the pieces in monopoly,
Arekku slowly walked onto the beach, he looked around for a few minutes to make sure Sammy wasn't around. After finding no trace of the girl he gave a sigh of relief and tossed Kenter's pokeball. The Mantine landed in the water and splashed about for a bit, happy to be out of his pokeball for the first time in a while. Arekku walked out into the water to pet Kanter for a while before hopping on. As soon as the Aquan was situated, Kenter began Surfing him about. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. But the cool ocean scented air rushing around him was perfect for clearing his head, and the night sky was beautifully lit up with so many stars.
Of course he couldn't look up there for too long before he actually started tearing up. "Mom.... Dad...... Clara..." He whispered and pulled his head down to look ahead and undo his thoughts again.

Sammy sat on one of the many rocks in the area, tossing an empty pokeball up and down. It was odd... She barely felt any anger today.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy was fast asleep, sitting several meters offshore on her favorite rock. The note was gripped tightly in her hand, still unread. Kale, her messenger Spearow, was perched on her shoulder still, looking about to make sure nothing would sneak up on his resting master.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Sammy looked curiously at the figure sitting about ten meters away from her. She didn't know who it was because she couldn't see them that well, so she summoned a Thunder from the sky in hopes of the noise waking them up.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Kale took to the skies, crowing madly. He would return to Maddy later. Meanwhile, Maddy awoke with a start and looked around, wondering what exactly had startled her. She spotted Sammy onshore. "Oh, hi Sammy!" She called out, waving at the girl, the note STILL clutched in her hand.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Arekku took a few more deep breaths before requesting that he be taken back to Aquos. Kenter nodded and slowly made a wide u-turn. They started on their way back toward the island.

Sammy sent a few sparks into the sky, thinking that Maddy was still asleep. When the girl responded, though, she waved back. "Yo! Why're you on a rock?" she questioned, which was a stupid question since she was on one, too...

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy shrugged. "It's my favorite place to think. I may be hydrophobic, but listening to the ocean waves washing against the sand calms me." She turned to gaze out at the ocean, the stars reflecting beautifully in the great pool of water and glistening upon the surface as if they were really part of the sea and not the sky. Kenter brought Arekku in as close to the shore as the water would allow. He hopped off his Mantine and withdrew him. He looked around the beach a few more times and went back inside, feeling refreshed and much happier, but there was a sadness to it that he didn't fully understand. Yeah, sure he was sad because he lost his family, but he was passed that. What could still be causing him to be downcast? He sighed, "Too many thoughts, so little time... Best to shove them overboard with the rest of the baggage and hope they don't float along side the ship..." He went back inside after one more long look out over the ocean.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy walked out of her room, her hands in her pockets. She leapt up onto the ceiling and went to her corner, but instead of sitting down, she merely stood.
