Sammy snarled at the Sceptile. "I will not be ordered around by some pokemon who has the audacity to believe he has control over me," she growled simply, standing and beginning to walk away. Cody hadn't pissed her off, but his pokemon sure had.

Sceptile put on his game face and calmed his mood. With a nicer tone, he said, "I'm sorry, Sammy. Can we please figure this thing out? I'm not trying to start anything."

"Yea, nice to meet-" He stopped, raising an eyebrow at Sceptile's action. He made a sound similiar to the crack of a whip. "And where would you like these minutes?" He asked, now blatantly messing with the Sceptile. "And Maddy does have a point."

She growled again. "There is nothing to figure out. I do not know what you are speaking of. If we are going to talk, it will be as friends and not as some orchestrated discussion by you," she hissed over at the Sceptile, her patience growing thin.

Sceptile's game face could only withstand so much and with Sammy yelling at him and the new kid messing with him, it was about ready to give in. "WELL, I'M SORRY YOU-" With a swift hand movement, Cody had grabbed Sceptile's pokeball and returned him within a half-seconds time. The trainer took the pokeball and rolled it down the hallway which both of them had come from. Standing, he offered a handshake to the new guy and said, "As I was saying, I'm Cody. And you are?"

Sammy watched as Sceptile was returned, more than relieved to see things end up as so. She sat down in one of the chairs, folding her legs again.

"Adam 'angel eyes' Daniels. At your service." Adam said, shaking Cody's hand. "And this is my sidekick Ichabod Yansleeve." He said, referring to Loki, his Eevee. "That's some Sceptile you got there."

Cody chuckled. "He's... Something, alright. A piece of work, that's what he is. and a total smartass with a huge ego. He takes some getting used to, but once he gets used to you, he'll be fine." He looked down at the Eevee and nodded with a smile.
He looked over at Sammy and lowered his voice, "When you get a chance, there's a thing or two I'd like to discuss with you. Privately, of course. If you don't want to, that's cool too. I understand."

Sammy looked over at Cody, nodding in agreement. She then turned her head back down, pulling out a book. Perhaps she would get a chance to get some reading done while Adam and Cody were meeting each other.

Cody looked at Maddy and smiled. "Hey Maddy," he greeted, cheerfully. Turning back to Adam, he asked, "So how long have you been in Aqua?"

There's no such cat in the metropolis, who holds all the pieces in monopoly,
Arekku stepped into the room, Len, his Teddiursa, peering over his shoulder at everyone. The Aquan smiled and waved at everyone but when he spotted Sammy his peppiness turned quickly to a flat emotion. He rolled his eyes and greeted everyone almost flatly. Len didn't care though, he sat on his trainer's backpack happy as ever, humming to himself. Ah, ignorance really is bliss! Then Arekku noticed Cody and waved with a slightly nicer hello.
