Also...Samayou! I'm glad you decided to join, hopefully our characters can meet up. I know right now in the "current" storyline most everyone is in a different location of Heaven trying to negotiate or something...it's been so long I've forgotten. =[
But I'm pretty sure that JillyFro has characters already at the warriors guild with which he can integrate you into some plot. biggrin Meh seemed like fun. my post was designated for anyone in the area to go ahead and jump in. As for Samuel he is from another Dimension, he is from the Abyss, or well MY Abyss I guess. So many writers and creators of different things it is hard to be original. Samayou originates from the Abyss even though he was born on earth, so he is not really from Heaven or Hell but sides with heaven and Earth.

Rhayven Blade Serious struggles with the character creation aspect, so what is and isnt acceptable as far the world goes? Whats the tech level like? As GC said as futuristic as you want on this. We don't actually have to many characters that use tech.What are the magic levels like? Some characters have power beyond others, and I'm thinking comparing Freiza to Vegeta when Vegeta first fought Goku.Is it the same for humans? No. A 20 year old human wouldn't have anywhere near the power of an XXXX year old (insert race of choice here).What about acceptable races? Another thought is a human born of raw eldritch magic. Your race can be whatever you desire. As for a human born of eldritch magic.....no idea what your talking about. sweatdrop I dont see anywhere these things are well defined? Can someone help me out or point me in the right direction? Hope those anwers helped you out some. I may not drop in often but when I do, I tend to be helpful.

Rhayven Blade I guess I have a thought then, Question, the character I am planning is a planar mage, a planeswalker in his own right. In his realm there is still a plane of shadows, could he still draw on that plane of shadows as a source for his shadow magic? His shadow magic is blended with arcane magic to create a form of eldritch magic called noctumacy. Since his magic was learned on his home plane it would still draw on his original plane of shadows since he doesnt know about the plane of shadows in this new realm. The Shadow Realm was never actually destroyed, this is a misconception. It was sealed away preventing access to all except for four or so people. So any interaction with the Shadow Realm isn't possible, but Shadow Magic still exisits and hasn't been weakened. If you would like to draw upon magic from a different plane you are free to do so, but it would be weaker in this plane than that plane for obvious reasons I'm not going to bother naming and insulting your intelligence by doing so.

I must apologize for my negligence! My disappearance was sudden, I know, but I had to focus on real life. I'm not on the internet as much as I used to be.
