Jasie frowned in thought, "It's complicated-- you see Jean is the rage and hatred that was built up through the process of-- well that night I was turned. She's a part of me that-- well hates everything and the world. Yet she's starting to change, I think that's another reason why I sorta snapped as well." she paused for a moment and looked over at Zarathose. He once was a vampire, and now-- he's a demon. She wondered what it was like to be him, if it was somewhat different. She snapped out of her thoughts and continued. " Jean is the crazier, rougher side of me, the one who takes control when things-- I don't know. But lets say I'm in a fight and injured badly or way in over my head-- she'd take over and knowing her usage of, well the insane methods of fighting. She'd usually kill everyone or join their side-- it all depends. She's-- beyond insane you could say." Jasie remembered when she met D and she took over. Jean taunted D, trying to make him kill her-- which would have killed them both. Jasie shook her head and drank whatever was placed before Zarathose, and then looked at Rayne. "There's not really a schedule between us. She pop's in now and again when I can't handle something's, when s**t hits the fan or whenever she likes most the time. It depends on me as well-- if I'm to weak to fight her off, that's when she takes over-- or simply for survival. She'll do anything to keep herself alive. Anything..."

((The knowing the wine thing was talking about the Merlot))
Jack turned his head towards Jasie, now caught completely by surprise. He chuckled quietly as he looked down at his drink and finished it off. He laughed quietly as he shook his head, now mildly amused with the situation.
"I wonder why I try to be a nice guy... in New York of all places. I just get ridiculed for it. And as for you Jasie... we seem to have more an common than I thought off the bat. JR... my vampiric side that tries to get out whever it can. It's basically a personality that uses the parts of the brain I can't. The one fault of being a damphir... who drank a vampires blood rather than being bitten by one. I've gotta say, when he's in control, it's a real pain in the a**."

((Ah, well then my apologies then.))
Jasie was about to punch Jack by his amused laughing, but when he casually stated his comment, Jasie instantly calmed and relaxed a bit. She felt foolish for reacting the way she did, but nonetheless she had indeed felt like hitting him. "Odd." Jasie thought. She then sighed and looked over at Jack mildly, “It’s not that you get ridiculed for being nice, but by being nice-- your presenting yourself as none other than a naïve fool. So in return you are treated as one. No offense.” she said casually yet wondered if she made any sense. But she patting him on the shoulder anyways. Yet when Jack commented on them being similar, she slipped her hand away, merely nodded and looked off in the shadowy part of the bar.

((As minor as it was, it was nothing important lol... and unfortunately I think I made it seem that way... yay text hah hah))
"I'll admit that I am at times... I suppose that's a good reason to have JR. He's got the assertion that's more than... well, intimidating."
He chuckled quietly. JR just scoffed in his mind.
Don't do me any favors. You know what I'm capable of.
"I never said I was complimenting you."

(( Thanks for the idea on my avi characters, well visual wise anyways... ^_^ ))
Jasie mentally agreed with Jack-- Jean was slumbering, so in terms to her and Jack. I guess she had the better deal out of the bargain. Well so far anyways, yet Jean was only sleeping b/c of everything that has happened, and she's content as well. Jasie drifted in though for a while before coming to. She looked over at Jack and knew the moment the odd look of frustration was put on his face-- that he was in fact, talking and arguing with JR. So she leaned over in curiousity and whispered, "So what's he saying?" she was both intrigued that someone was like her and amused at how they were so alike in many way.

((Your welcome ^_^))
Jack looked at her off the corner of his eye. A weak grin grew on his face as he laughed quietly as he looked away. He could have let JR talk to her in person... but he was worried about what he would do when there was a moment of freedom. He was dangerous... always has been, and always would be.
"Basically he's ragging on me for 'glorifying' him if you will."
He received another glass of Jack Daniels. He quickly took a swig of the drink. It felt good to have a drink with a smooth taste. He was glad it was difficult to get drunk as well. It made it easier to enjoy it.

Jasie noticed Jack’s late reply, and she wondered if he was in fact worried about something-- or in fact arguing yet again with JR. Either way, she merely looked at him with a raised brow and laughed. “So your were boosting-- up, his ego… Wow. You naughty, naughty boy you.” she said teasing them both. “Tell him to get a grip, and to just take the damn gratifying thank you’s.” she laughed a bit, yet flagged Jack the bartender down, said her apologies-- gave him a few bills under the table and got a decent, yet strong, alcoholic drink.

"Never said I was thanking him," he said with a laugh. "I was just describing the situation... and it's usually worse than better with him around."
He laughed quietly again as he swirled the glass of JD around a bit. He stared at the golden brown liquor, almost entranced by it. He scoffed silently as he put it back down, thinking to himself. He had to have been the oddest person there... to peaceful for a vampire, too philosophical for a normal person.
"You know, I'm amazed I haven't gotten kicked out of the hunters yet. They're so... different from me. Usually I've seen them go shoot first, ask questions later. And here I am making peaceful resolves with vampires," he said.
As he said it though, he looked over at Rayne and then Jasie. A grin grew on his face as he scoffed quietly.
"Well, one vampire anyway. Then again, I am half-vamp."

Jasie laughed, yet when he came out and said he was a hunter she froze. She grabbed one of her Desert Warrior .45 ACP handguns-- shoved him against the bar table and heaved the barrel of the gun between his eyes with intent, to kill. Jasie pulled back and laughed, “I’m just kidding Jack.” Jasie said and patted him on the back. Yet she thought she probably went a little to, far-- Jasie instantly winced and tried to make polite conversation. “So-- do you know Kashkin?”

Jack laughed at the event that had transpired. This wasn't the first time he had a gun put to him. If anything he welcomed it. He wanted a way out of his life... it seemed something always stopped him.
"I know you weren't kidding," he said with a laugh. "No one really like's hunters. I'm just a misunderstood one... a half-vampire who tries to find peace in this group. Also ma cushala, I have no idea who Kashkin is... I just got back here. I went out for some soul searching and failed miserably."
He narrowed his eyes as he realized what he said. Ma cushala... that was something he called Takiko when he was with her to his recollection. He chuckled quietly as he shook his head.
"Maybe I'm getting a bit drunk now," he said to himself.

Jasie eyed him, and then patted him on the back. “Dude-- don’t tell me how I feel. I have friends outside of my own kind. A hunter, a lycan and a tainted who I‘m sorta, dating-- and talking about misunderstood. Us vamp’s, are just as misunderstood as you are-- and we get killed off more than your kind does. But at least it’s not by are own, like you human’s.” She downed her drink and continued, “Also, who’s Ma Cushala? Not to mention, I’m sorry for the failed attempt in soul searching.” Jasie said sincerely, and waved for another round for them both.

"Ah, no one important. It's just a nick name for the person."
Jack chuckled as he turned his head towards Jasie. He had an odd grin plastered on his face.
"And I told you, I'm still part vampire. I drank the blood of one in a fight when I was just a civilian, and I paid the penalty for it... the main penalty being JR in my head."
He chuckled again as he finished off the Jack Daniels, wanting to empty the glass he saw in front of him. The taste relaxed him, more so than he thought it would.
"I need to buy a bottle of this for home."

"I'm different ok-- most of my kind kill for sport or for pleasure. I don't-- it's more of. Well I only feed to survive, and even that sometimes get's Jean in a pissy mood. She'd like nothing more than to bath in blood, day and night if she could. Feed till there's nothing left or to feed on. JR and her would probably hit it off great." she ended with a chuckle. She looked at him and then waved over towards the bartender. She whispered something to him, and he slid a brown-- rather large, paper bag in front of him. Jasie smiled, "Consider it a thank you gift among friends." She said with a light laugh. Yet Jasie was drifting back in thought, to what jack said. "Ah, no one important." Jasie knew when she hit a nerve or rather an open wound that should be left untouched. She just wondered who really is, Ma Cushala.
Jasie quickly snapped out of her thoughts and patted Jack on the back, "Go home you fool, and rest easy-- I would hate to see you in the early hours swinging at a vampire, in your state." She said in concern, yet chuckled a bit. "Go home man."

"Probably sounds good. I need the rest anyway. Take care Jasie. 'Til we see each other again."
He gave her a thankful nod and a smile as he took the bottle. He stood up and slowly headed out the bar. As he did though, he stopped for a brief second. He slowly turned his head to look back at Jasie... except there was a different person behind the eyes, and it showed. Eyes that were gleaming red with cruelty were now there.
"And Jasie?" he said in a deeper voice. "Tell Rayne that Jack might put up with her crap... but I won't."
JR stared at Jasie and grinned deviously, slightly baring his fangs as he did so. He chuckled quietly as he turned away and headed out the bar. As he exited, Jack could feel himself gain control again. He really was getting tired.

Jasie smiled, a dopey looking one at that too. Her expression was one that held laughter, understanding and a bond. She seriously hoped on seeing Jack or either JR again. At least she wouldn't feel so alone anymore-- well with her and Jean that is. Jack understood and that meant something. Yet something she just couldn't quite put her finger on. But hearing JR's voice, Jean arose inside and was immediately intrigued. Almost wanting and trying to pull Jasie in his direction.
"Jasie, come on-- bad boy's finally over there, and waiting to be plucked. Not to mention played with. I want, him!" Jasie merely laughed, her herself wondered why she wasn't rushing that way herself. But she knew why-- and that's why she held her ground and said no. Jean merely cursed and clawed within Jasie for a bit, giving her ulcers and cramps. But Jasie held firm and simply gulped down her beverage and pushed herself from the bar. She looked over at Zarathose and Rayne, "Later kids-- I'm headed home. I'll catch you guys another time I suppose. Later... and ah-- sorry again" And with that said and done, she left. Leaving a couple of large bills to pay off hers and everyone else, in the bar's bills-- and a few more if they kept up with drinking.
