he looked at Erin "they need to know..." he said softly
"they don't know?" she looked at them all "Nate knows right?"
"yeah, ofcoars Nate knows mom" he smiled softly and kissed Nate's cheek softly before turning back to Erin
she looked up at Kent "Babe... maybe you should tell them what we all are"

"They have to know at some point. The babies will only make the ask more questions."
He took a deep breath and faced Nates parents. "Umm well before we answer that we have to tell you something. Me and Roy are werewolves. Maki didn't get the gene so hes human. And well the girls are both Vampires, which is the reason for meeting at this hour. Don't worry your son is perfectly safe with us."
He wanted to run, to scream, to drag Nate and his wife away from here and never let Nate see this family again. He could just imagine the girls feasting on his son or the two brothers ripping him to pieces. But as it was he couldn't move, he was speechless.
He was waiting for the blow up now. He thought his father was doing well, but knew there was no way that adding this to everything so far was good. He could see it in the way his father froze that it wasn't good.

she stiffened a little next to her husband, uncomfortable "so then... how did Maki and Erin...?" she couldn't finish
he held Nate close to him in protection. If his parents bolted they weren't going to take him
Euclid crawled over to them and in to Nate's fathers lap. He patted his grandfathers stomach and made little baby noises and smiled up at him

"Like any other man and woman." She said feeling a little insulted. She hadn't really encountered this sort of thing in a while.
He looked down at the baby not sure how to react. He couldn't exactly yell at it like any other half bread.
He had the urge to pick up Euclid and get him away from his father.

"I think he likes you. That's Euclid" he said, still holding Nate and Niles protectively

"You can pick him up, he won't hurt you." he said seeing the awkward feeling on the mans face.
He thought about it a moment before he came to the conclusion that the baby wouldn't leave him be till he was picked up. He picked him up like the baby didn;t scare him, even though he did.
He tensed feeling like a stressed father. He was afraid something would go wrong and fast. He was thankful that his father wasn't holding Devi or Niels.

he smiled up at his grandfather happily and played with the buttons on the mans shirt. Curiosity got the better of him and he started to chew toothless on one of them
"he can't bit yet... there's nothing to worry about. And when he does start 'hunting' we'll raise them all on animals... like there mother"

He had to admit that the little guy was cute. "How long have you know what they are?" His question was directed at his son.
"Since I met them. When me and Maki started dating they decided to let me know." His voice was a little shaky.
She crossed her arms not liking the mans ton. She could smell the fear on him and it made her a bit nervous to have him holding one of her sons She leaned into Roy wondering if he was tense about all this as well. She could see it in the humans but it was harder in the others to see.

he was tence like the rest of them but sat regularly he wrapped his arms around her carefully
Euclid continued to chew on the button
"we wanted to wait to tell every one else... because of the general reaction we get... We needed to get to know you first" he explained. He rubbed Nate's arm softly and calmingly as he watched his father-in-law and his son

"You know how your mother and I feel about this." It wasn't a question.
"And I didn't care. I loved Maki and if keeping another secret from you was all it took to stay with him, I did and still don't care. I know them. They don't harm people. They care more about human like then humans do." He said sticking up for his family. He wasn't sure where the courage came from though.
He resisted a growl. He could see why Nate was never fond of going home after staying at their house.

Euclid was getting close to falling back to sleep
she was still in to much shock to do anything
she rested a hand on his arm lightly
he stayed quiet, letting Nate finally have this moment with his father

"What if something had happened to you when you were at that house? What if something happens to you now? What are me and your mother supposed to think?" He was getting angry and would soon put down the b*****d baby.
"What of something happened to me at their home..." He was shocked at these words. "Makis house felt more like home then yours ever did. They have never hurt me, they never would. You on the other hand-"
"Thats enough young man!" He raised his voice and set the baby in the blanket.
"No I'm not done! There home was the only place I felt save. You don't know how many times i wanted to run away, to die. I did everything I could think of to keep you happy. But it was never enough. You were never happy. and then You were convinced you could change me when you found out I was gay. You almost had me so many times. But I always had one person, one person that would hold me, that would tell me it would be alright, that would remind my why I loved him and took all that hurt and pain from you. Now if your just going to sit here and insult my family then leave because I've had enough of your bull s**t." he was close to tears as he finished his little speech.
He was shocked to hear his son speak to him like that.

she carefully and quickly picked the crying Euclid up and rubbed his back softly "shh... it's ok little one"
he rubbed Nate's cheek softly and then kissed it "you did grate" he whispered
she looked at her husband and shook her head a little. He hadn't listened to her when she told him all these things about Nate

His breathing was labored a little as he half glared at his father.
"What!?" He said to his wife as she shook her head.
She glared at Nates father. She had never wanted to claw someone to death so much before. She tried her best not to show her anger but it had a way of showing.
Niels looked up at his father a little said and sent the ocean air to him and the feel of waves over him. Over both his fathers.
He looked down, breaking the gaze at his father. He kissed his sons head softly, calming a little.
