WhiteJoker There's also how people react to him in relation to Cedric. Cedric we know is handsome, the girls say so, hell, even Harry acknowledges a certain amount of good looks in Cedric. Cedric also has the same noble qualities that Harry has. Girls swoon over Cedric because he's the "total package" where as girls swoon over Harry because he's Harry. Actually, come to think of it, they don't really swoon over him that much. I get the feeling that Harry would be somewhat oblivious to it if the girls did swoon, but there would probably at least be more note of it happening. Even if it was just Harry thinking they were all staring at his scar, or something. WhiteJoker It may just be that amoung the Slytherins, Dracos the only one we hear about regularly and get any meaningful descriptions of (that aren't horrid) so it elevates him higher simply because he's somewhat decent looking in a crowd of not so good looking (what is with people and making villains ugly?). There's that, as well. Ultimately, I think that if the fans want a character to be hot, they'll make them hot. And damn the torpedoes canon that tries to say otherwise. Hey, don't knock Lord Voldemort. Red eyes and nose slits are way sexy. xp WhiteJoker I blame the entire Draco fangirl movement on Cassandra Claire. No further comments. WhiteJoker Malaryush I don't know. For all that I don't know where they got their ideas, fanon Draco does have his appeal. Just as an entity totally different from his inspiration. Sort of like how some people like the Constantine and Hitchhikers movies despite them being horrible examples of what they were based on? Or the way people still like Twinkies, even if they have no particular resemblance to real food.
