I'll agree with you on Harry; from what we've got, he sounds pretty average in terms of looks. On the other hand, the HarryVision sort of skews everything. If Harry was good-looking, he'd probably be the last to admit it -- he is, for the most part, pretty modest. And clueless. But the female reactions to him do seem to lean more toward the "he's famous!" than the "he's handsome!"

As for Draco, it's pretty impossible to tell. Again, if Draco was good-looking, Harry would be among the last to think so. It also comes down to tastes. Some girls think pale guys with light blonde hair are irresistable. (Even if Harry and I don't. xp )

We don't really see enough of Draco's general social life to tell how the girls react to him, aside from Pansy's frequent attentions -- a clinginess which could just as easily be attributed to his family's money or influence as his looks.

It seems to be left to the reader's imagination, and a lot of the readers seem to have decided he's some sort of Slytherin sex-god. neutral

Who also wears leather pants. xd

I don't know. For all that I don't know where they got their ideas, fanon Draco does have his appeal. Just as an entity totally different from his inspiration.

But there's also the fact that outside of the latest few books, you don't really see anybody being "evil," the worst you tend to get is vague hints of something dasterdly and vile.

Tom Riddle tries with the Manticore but nobody dies, and you don't learn until the end that they could die so it's not really evil so much as an echo of Voldemort (who is already established as evil but in the cartoon villain sort of sense).

Peter Pettigrew is the "evil" of the third book but nobody actually dies in that book and the people he kills is really just a footnote, it's far more of an evil thing he did to betray the Potters then it was to blow up however many people on that street.

In Goblet is when we really get the sense of "evil" when Cedric dies. Until that point, the villains are all cartoony and not really evil so much as dasterdly and wicked. Voldemort kills, that's what turns him from the normal super villain into an actual evil menace and that's when characters stop being cartoony and become actually evil.

However, even after that act, there's no real true evil in the HP world outside of Voldemort. Draco's antics are just as "evil" as the antics of Lucious who is made out to be the next best thing to Voldemort. Draco isn't "evil" and "murderous" yet because nobody is besides Voldemort.
