Rhayven Blade Ello all, a few of you I actually Know, a few I have known for a long time. As to the rest, I am new here, got invited by phantom. I have been around for a while on gaia, cant count how many names I have gone by, the biggest one and the longest one was Nazareth Imishi I think might have met some of you under that one. Any way, I am one of the noobs in the tourney galaxy is doing and am co fronting the tournament reward. I havent looked into the guild too deeply yet, and I am frustrated that gaia still hasnt added guilds to the notification system. Something as simple as, 'This guild: ***, has new posts." would make rping in guilds so much easier. At any rate, forgive any grammar mistakes you see from me please, I do my best, but my autism makes some of the rules a pain. If there are any story arcs or lines currently recruiting or accepting I would love to get a character up. If not then I could write one, if someone would give me a world break down for the environs the guild uses. I may be knew, but if i am going to participate I am going to try and do it right. Nazareth? I remember you, brilliant role-play over all with a great ability to play a wide variety of roles. Well i am new myself but if I get the jist of things it is as the title suggests. a Multi sectioned Heaven VS Hell with a neutrality side as well.

Serious struggles with the character creation aspect, so what is and isnt acceptable as far the world goes?
Whats the tech level like?
What are the magic levels like?
Is it the same for humans?
What about acceptable races? Another thought is a human born of raw eldritch magic.
I dont see anywhere these things are well defined? Can someone help me out or point me in the right direction?

Rhayven I used Takehitsu here for the longest while and his tech level is about as futuristic as you can possibly get.. he's actually still alive and I will revive him as soon as I can.
But I'm thinking Someone else could help you out better as logn as your not godmoded it should be fine.

Be as creative as you like.
Bring in your best character, or a new character, or an old one. Submit a detailed profile into the profile thread and it'll get looked over, and if there is an issue someone will let you know. We have some seriously powerful characters, and we also have normal humans. So really it is up to you on what you wanna bring to the table, we accept pretty much everything. =]
The one thing I do know off-hand is that the shadow realm was destroyed a few series back, and so that knocked out Wyndom's shadow teleportation and connection to the shadow realm when I first came here last series, but that ultimately helped him develop into something better.
In short: Post whatever profile you desire and if no one says anything about it, you're in the clear. wink
Also...Samayou! I'm glad you decided to join, hopefully our characters can meet up. I know right now in the "current" storyline most everyone is in a different location of Heaven trying to negotiate or something...it's been so long I've forgotten. =[
But I'm pretty sure that JillyFro has characters already at the warriors guild with which he can integrate you into some plot. biggrin

I guess I have a thought then,
Question, the character I am planning is a planar mage, a planeswalker in his own right.
In his realm there is still a plane of shadows, could he still draw on that plane of shadows as a source for his shadow magic?
His shadow magic is blended with arcane magic to create a form of eldritch magic called noctumacy. Since his magic was learned on his home plane it would still draw on his original plane of shadows since he doesnt know about the plane of shadows in this new realm.

Off hand.. I have no clue.
I'm pretty sure any/all shadow powers would be eliminated due to the shadow realm's destruction.
Again, we ain't the usual experts. XD
If anythin', use him for now and if no one brings it up.. You're good?

I could, better to make sure that I am not stepping on any toes.
I could write it using darkness as well since light and dark create shadow .
In fact I think thats how the shadow realm was created in the first place...
