Typing away at his computer Samuel did his best to be patient. He filled in a few reports and order forms as the minutes ticked by. After some time, his phone buzzed on his desk. Picking it up, he read over the males words, laughing softly to himself. "You have my word." he typed happily. "That sounds....a little boring. Is there even anything good on this time of night?" he asked again. Sending his message, Samuel went back to work. Once he finished this up, he was out of there. He had no plans of staying until dawn. He couldn't. Yawning, he stretched his tired limbs. His legs were a little sore as were his feet. The shoes he chose looked nice, but they were not that great for standing on concrete for hours while playing bartender. Though he almost hated the idea of going home, knowing he could curl up to Micha. He sighed at his own wishful thinking. At least he was able to talk with him, even if it was only for a little while.

Event though his day might not have been as busy or exciting as his own, Samuel was still interested in talking to him. It had been several hours since they were last together and he wondered if Micha had decided to do anything today. Though he'd understand if he didn't. After sending his message, Samuel continued to work a little more. The minutes passed while Micha took his time replying. His phone soon buzzed and he had a new message. Picking it up, he read through the males words and smirked as he was teased. "Be glad you don't. I've barely had time to breathe tonight." he whined. "That's not too surprising. But I'm glad you took my advice and were able to find a few places to your liking. What part of town are they in?"

It would be hypocritical of him to say anything too negative about the way Micha spent his day. After all, half of his own work was done online. He was proud that the man was able to find a few places that seemed to suit his needs. He could hope the things he saw lived up to their photos. The idea that Micha might soon have a new place to call home was exciting. While he understood this new studio would be nothing like his old one and the memories they had shared there were now lost. In a way he liked to think that moving to somewhere new might be for the best. He of course wasn't Micha would share his sentiment. Samuel finished typing up his reports and saved them to his computer. Later they would be sent off to their respective recipients. As his phone buzzed on the surface of his desk, he picked it up once more to read. Samuel smirked at the males words as he was teased. "I'll remember that the next time you wanna talk about your new assistant." he teased back. "Makes sense, that was the neighbor you lived in before. Well, like I said, hopefully you can find some place good. Let me know if you want or need help moving in." Samuel knew Micha might not have a lot of stuff, but he didn't mind offering his time to him. After all, he knew that moving could be a pain in the a** and he didn't want to just assume that he could take care of it all on his own.

Samuel understood the importance of taking things slow. But he also knew that Micha couldn't live in a hotel forever. Eventually the cost would catch up to him and he hadn't asked him about his current financial situation. He didn't want to pry too much as he knew the man would likely not take any money from if he were to offer it. However, he worried if he stayed in one place for too long his savings might dry up before he could move anywhere. Samuel didn't want that for him nor did he want to think about it. Picking up, his phone he continued their playful conversation. After hitting send, he took another glance towards the clock. It was just about closing time with only a few minutes to spare. Already he could hear a bit of noise outside his door as a few employees went to their lockers to start getting changed. He too would be leaving soon.
Another minute or so passed before he received the males next message. Tapping on the text, he read his words and smiled to himself. "Good idea. There are too many listings out there that like to reuse old photos or photoshop them just to get a new tenant. Make sure to do your research on whoever owns these places." he replied in a more serious tone. Once he knew that Micha was fully capable of himself and probably knew all of this. Still, he couldn't help to worry about him a little. If he did so happen to find someplace new to live, he wanted him to be safe and not stuck with a slum landlord. There was nothing worse than renting from someone who only saw their tenants as dollar signs.

Time went by slowly as they texted back and forth. Even though he was tired, he wanted to talk the male one more time. Samuel was glad the male had waited up for him, but he didn't want to hold him for too long. After all, it was late and they both needed their rest. He typed out another text, he didn't really care that he was stating the obvious. He'd dealt with enough realtors to know that the obvious was some of the most sound advice. There was nothing worse than going into a property blind and he wanted Micha to just be prepared. After hitting the send button, Samuel glanced towards the clock once more. He had no energy to do anymore work. Whatever was left, could wait for tomorrow. Pushing himself out of his chair he grabbed his blazer from the rack along with his briefcase. Turning out the lights and locking the door, he walked down the hall towards the exit. On his way out, he reminded his few employees to lock up and set the alarm. The men agreed and smiled politely as they wished him goodnight. Waving back towards them, he pushed through the weighted door.
The night air was cool and calm. In the distance he heard a few cars, but it was mostly silent. Crossing over to his car he felt his phone buzzing in his pocket. Samuel smiled down at the males good as he unlocked his car. "Good...Alright, babe I'm gonna let you go to sleep. I'm about to drive home. Goodnight! xoxo" he wrote back. Slipping behind the wheel, Samuel placed his things on the passenger seat. He shut the door behind himself and started the car. Cool air blasted through the vents. He played a little with the settings, before buckling up, and backing out of his parking space. He carefully steered himself through the lot and out on to the main roads.

If he had the energy he would have happily talked longer with Micha. But he knew that Micha needed to sleep, and he needed to get home. After sending out his next text, it wasn't long before Micha gave his reply. Samuel smiled at his words. "I will, promise. I love you, too." after hitting send he set his phone in the cup holder and put on his seat belt. Glancing around, the lot had emptied out quite a bit. Samuel carefully eased out of his spot and steered his car through the lot to the main road. The weight of his long day was starting to show and he could barely keep his eyes open. Lucky for him, the streets were clear and he didn't live too far.
Taking his time, he drove down past the few places that were still open before coming to a light. Samuel sat there listening to the quiet engine. When the light changed a moment later he continued his journey home. The rest of the drive was just as quiet as before. It was ten minutes before he reached the gates of the estate. The iron bars unlocked as he approached and opened before him. Samuel followed the familiar trail leading to the garage. The circular drive was empty, telling him that he would be sleeping alone tonight. Pressing the garage button on his visor he pulled into his usual parking space. Parking the car, he then cut the engine and closed the garage door. "Just got home, going to bed. heart " he typed, sending one last text to Micha.
Slipping out of his car Samuel made his way into the house. He went through his routine of disarming and rearming the house alarm before climbing the stairs to his room. He didn't bother going to bathe or freshen up he was too tired for that. Instead he stripped down to his boxers and moved around the bed to plop beneath the covers. Within only a few minutes he was out like a light.

Samuel wasn't expecting much an answer when he came home. He was too exhausted to say much more anyway. Once he got in the house, he locked up and made a beeline for his bedroom. There he stripped away his suit and crawled beneath the covers. He fell asleep almost instantly as he laid his head against the cool pillow. He too wished the male was there beside him, but knew he just had to be patient. They would meet again, just not yet. Sleep quickly found him as he curled up on his side. He slept the rest of the night away and well into the morning. It was twenty to noon when he finally decided to stir.
He lay there quietly as he was not quite ready to get out of the warm little cocoon he'd made for himself. He could feel the sweet tug of sleep trying to lure him back. Aside from work later, he didn't really have any plans today, so he was almost tempted to allow it. A few minutes passed before hearing his phone buzz. His eyes snapped open to the noise as he glanced around himself to find its source. Where did he put it when he came in last night? Knowing it wasn't beneath him, he pushed back the cover and sat up slowly. It wasn't on the nightstand nor under any pillows. Where did it go? Samuel crawled to the end of his bed and leaned over the side. He grabbed his half forgotten slacks from the floor and was surprised how weighty they were. It appeared in his half-awake state he had forgotten to do more than take out his phone. His wallet and keys were also present in the other pockets.
He didn't care too much about the other items as he set the pant back on the floor. Taking his phone, Samuel moved back to the warmth of his covers as his thumb slid across the screen. Seeing there was a new message, he tapped the icon, and waited a moment. The pose Micha laid in was quick simple, but it was expression that caught his attention followed by his words. "Good morning, beautiful." Samuel text back. "Sleep well?" After sending the two text, Samuel went to take care of his own needs. When he was done with that, he took his phone and moved to heard downstairs.
