Peppermint Elf It's like Sasuke. There are TONS of Sasuke fans who think he's so damn sexy and would want to have his millions of babies. But I think his character is totally unlovable and I'd rather shoot him with a high powered rifle. Alot. domokun Well, Sasuke's understandable. Until the later/current arcs of the manga, they give him plenty of heroic qualities, and lovable qualities, especially early on in the series when they make him out to be like a brother figure to Naruto. It's only later on that he starts becoming unlovable but the early impression stays giving him the redeemable quality. Draco on the other hand was never good, never had any good qualities, and doesn't show any signs of being redeemed. He's a lost cause, that's how he's written, so it doesn't make sense for people to go ga-ga over him, especially since he's discribed as "sickly" and the like, terms far from flattering.

Fomite It is mostly about totally rewriting his character. The fandom has turned him into something unrecognizable. But cute. Whereas canon Draco really needs to be squished. A lot. So I've noticed. They seem rather fixated on the Draco that's depicted as the "dark Harry" but still good.

Maybe it's just me. I've never ever found Sasuke likeable. I was almost audibly cheering Haku when I thought he killed him. Yep... I was quite disappointed. sweatdrop As for Draco... well... people find Snape appealing to, but when he's described as "greasy", "oily", and many other nasty descriptions... I don't see how they can find him attractive. The only time I see redeeming qualities in him is in the movies. Sorry Mala. sweatdrop Uh... Go Wood! ninja

Inamori Kanako Working on Absolute age and relative age. What science textbook you use? Science Probe 10. I still need to take time to review that junk. I don't remember much of it at all. Absolute age... my cat is 9 years old. Relative age... My grandma is older than my car. Right?

On the other hand, I think most readers know that everything has been filtered through a Harry-tinted glass. If one takes the descriptions of Draco at face value, he does at least sound like he could be physically attractive. There are even times when he's rather funny. ...But he's still a nasty piece of work and deserving of a good squashing. But Draco x Pansy works since, as far as we can tell, she's just as thoroughly evil as he is. However, whatever it was they decided to work with, fans have taken Draco, beaned him over the skull, and replaced him with lovable and adorable pod-Draco. Of course, I say this all as somebody who would have millions of Snape's greasy little babies. XP I recognize that he could do with a good boot to the face, himself. I just like him that way.
