I'm unfazed by Unusual Hats nowadays. A friend of mine who's a regular on the (-TN-) servers Mizu and I play on has about 2 Unusuals per class.
I just gave up and started selling Crates for Scrap.

I'm unfazed by Unusual Hats nowadays. A friend of mine who's a regular on the (-TN-) servers Mizu and I play on has about 2 Unusuals per class.
I just gave up and started selling Crates for Scrap.When they first came out this guy on RAGE had a flaming engie cap. We were all shocked and awed. But we got bored within minutes.

To be honest, I think most unusual effects look like s**t. I've got two cute pink-painted heart-unusuals and a Soldier's Stash with circling peace effect for the irony and FMJ reference.
I'd never wear a hat with any of the other effects. Maybe Goggles with ghosts or a Pyro hat with fire.

Yes, it's on my Scout and I occasionally equip it on the Heavy for serious cross-team debates.

I like the Green Energy and Purple Energy effects, Scorching Flames, and Seared Plasma effects, personally.
