"You should have seen it before. This place was a mess."

He himself aws not all to certain, but after speaking with one of the workers there they found that they could find the new king in the tall bulding nearest the forest. It wasn't a grand place, and rather modest, but looked well secured. They inquired to the gaurds their reasons for comming, and they were allowed in.

In an office like room, where a boy and some men were looking over plans for the city, Moon and Kat were allowed to enter.

The boy greated them. "Hello travelers. What have you to offfer the new city of Honoursfield?" He smiled at them. He wore no crown, but looked clean and well kept. Moonstone supposedthis was the young king he had heard about.

"King Gerard." Moonstone bowed. "We come to offer medical aid."

She just glared at him, "Next time I'm sure he'll be more courteous. And I"m cleaning it because I don't want Malik seeing it and knowing my luck Malik will be coming through here before one of the slaves can get it done." She rolled her eyes at him but concern replaced anger as she heard the sad chitter. "Oh Nym..why did you eat that whole piece of meat? You silly creature." She shook her head and watched as Sev picked up Nym and started to walk away. She alternated between anger and concern. "How am I supposed to know anything about runes Sevilin? Unlike you, I didn't chose to study runes. Instead I was focusing more on clerical studies!" Then another glance at Nym. "Is he going to be okay?" she asked chewing on her lip.

He spun on her instantly, that horrible angry flash to his eyes and his expression stern, hand clenched in a fist with one finger pointing accusingly at her. "Clerical studies that you think make you the best thing int he world and that nothing else matters and some aren't even deserving of those abilities!" Oh look she hit a nerve again. "And don't you speak to me of choices at all woman! You wouldn't know one if you were slapped in the face wiht one!"

Though his outburst seemed to turn perplexed at the fact that seh was chewing her lip and asking about Nym. What the...? A look down at the feerret. He'll be fine, we eat like that all the time...his body is just little." Another pet at the creature as he got his wits about him, letting that facade of anger drop back into place and let his voice turn venomous once more, mocking as well as he looked to recover himself. "Playing for Malik's good graces, how amusing...I thought you were above that."

Well she glad to know that Nym was goign to be okay but that brought her to the rest of it. Immediate anger at his comment about her catering to Malik but the rest of it stunned her. She jerked back like he'd slapped her and replaced her dagger in it's sheath at her thigh. Now what had brought that little outburst on? "I never said clerical studies made me think I'm the best thing in the world. And I don't think you aren't deserving of anything." Ah she saw what was happening here. He was still under the impression that she was just like any other female Drow he'd ever known. She watched him for a moment and then said quietly, "Sevilin, have I ever smacked you for saying something or getting out of line? Have I ever brandished a whip against you? Have I ever put you into a humiliating position just so I could laugh at you? Have I ever told you that you were lucky to be alive and only because of my good graces did you remain that way?"

"We'll just start out small first. Two floors will be fine, then we can move out. Although first we have to establish ourselv..."

And then he stopped and turned around, because he heard a voice.

"Kat?"

Moonstone stepped back a moment, feeling this wasn't his territoy.

"Kat. I was on my way to speak with you." He put a hand behind his neck. "The farm will be migrating. The King has offered his some good land, in and around the forest. Once we get soem good grass growing down here, well be transporting the herd."

He then looked atMoon, and then back tohi daughter. "What are you doing in Honoursfield?"

Kat was surprised, mom loved there home... "Does mom know we're moving?"

She looked a little sheepish, as if she wasn't supposed to be there. "Well... Moonstone and I had thought to open a medical center here... with the war coming people will need attention... adn both of us knows a little bi tabout healing people, and we've been studying... we're looking for a place now..."

Zahara stared at him again and shook her head, then sat down on the bottom step and ran her fingers through her hair. "I suppose I am that cruel. I suppose I do wish, hope and plan for the very moment when you step so far out of line I have no choice but to show you who's boss. I suppose that because my skin is the color it is and I am a female and my upbringing is Drow I have to treat you like something disgusting I scraped off the bottom of my boot. I guess you want me to bring you to your knees and force you to perform sexual favors for me as well." She shook her head, "I'm sorry that I've ever given you the impression that I am that way. I certainly didn't mean to." Why was it he couldnt' see past the fact that she was a female Drow? Why did everyone assume she was cruel and heartless. She tried so hard not to be and for what? Her shoulders slumped and she shook her head, "Maybe someday you'll see me for who I am not what you think I am. And when that day comes Sevilin Inthara, you'll make me very happy. Take care of Nym, he's one in a million." And while that last sentence implied an exit she just sat there, quietly watching him.
