Placing the cup down gently he reaches forward and places a hand on the Mistress' wrist and said* Hun, I assure you, if we met before you'd have my heart already as opposed to have only resently stolen it from me. Plus, I'd like to think that if we had any sort of familarity with each other we would have moved past the small talk stage by, at least, our second meeting. Wouldn't you agree? *takes another sip*

No hun. You read like a children's book hun. No offense or nothing, you just seem to be radiating a lot of warmth and emotion. Nothing to be alarmed over, just means you're good people. *he gives her a sly wink and nurses his drink a bit more*

*came to the realization that he, perhaps, had hit a button best left unpressed* Ah, hey, it's alright. Seriously. We're basing our impressions off of our drinks while ignoring a perfectly good opportunity to get to know each other the correct way. *downs the last of his drink*

So, this is a self service place right? Care if I sneak back there a moment and refill my cup? That's my problem in the face of a beautiful woman, I lose all sense of moderation. *he stands up and makes his way towards the expresso machine*.

*finishes making his drink* Nice machine you got here. Air pump system?

*turns cup in hand* Yeah, I get you can't really show your emotion all the time, I mean, that and run the place effectively. I get that. But at the same time, I'm not every customer. I'm just a guy with two sets of ears ready to hear what you have to say. So come on, take a deep breath and just let it all out. *takes a sip of his expresso* Gah. Hot!

Anyways, you have an office where you want to sit and chat about this since you like to be all stoic like to the public eye? *with that he gave her a sarcastic but warm wink and a smirk while placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder*

Hey, hey. It's alright darlin'. *puts his cup down and turns her to face him placing his hands on her upper arms whilst locking eyes again* We all have that place we go when we're stressed out, do I understand a word of what you said? Beyond mother? No. But come on, like I said, let's you and I have a sit down somewhere quiet and tell me why you yelled at the big bad preacher man alright?

*gives a look of disappointment at hearing of her engagement but quickly felt childish and shrugged it off* You? A bridezilla? I know I just met you but I expect more from you.

*walks her to a chair and motions her to sit in it while plopping himself down in the chair next to her. He takes another sip and then starts talking*

You're worried so much about the where's and when's but you're forgetting the what. You're getting married. You know how many people go their entirely lives without getting married? A lot. More people end up not married than married. It's just the way of the world. So theoretically you over came the odds and found someone willing to spend their life with you. *gives her another once over* Not that I can see any man unwilling to do that with you but that's besides the point darlin'.

Well, if you want the advice you haven't exactly asked for, I'd have a sit down with the...black hat half of your family and I would explain to them no shady deals, no wheelin' no dealin' all that silliness. You let them know that if they cause a scene at your wedding they're going to have to deal with you. And trust me, you seem plenty intimidating on this whole wedding front. *he gave her a warm smirk before returning to his drink, finishing off another cup*
