*Drake walks silently into the dojo and sits down on the nearest couch with a sigh as he glances around. He had been gone for so long, yet again, and without as much as a goodbye*

Yuki was up in the rafters staring down at the main room; bored. It was silent; empty. It was always so boring when everyone slept until ungodly hours.
Something caught her eyes as Drake walked in. She blinked, staring at him for a bit, thinking. His cousin Hunter looked so much like him it was eery, and she didn't want to screw up the two again.
She sighed and slipped down from the rafters, landing softly a bit away from Drake, hands going to her hips. "Oi..."

*Drake felt Yuki's presence as she dropped down from the rafters, but didn't make eye contact.*

Yuki sighed and shook her head, then walked over to him, crouching in front of him. "Where were you? I was worried..."

Yuki smiled softly and messed his hair up. "It's fine. It was just th' way you left..." She stood up and headed to the kitchen. "You must be hungry, after traveling so much. I'll make yah something."

*Drake got up and followed her into the kitchen and gave her a hug from behind*
I ate on the way over, it's fine... maybe some tea?
*Drake just held onto the hug. He didn't understand how Yuki could be so understanding of what he had done. However, even though he didn't comprehend why she was so understanding, he was just happy that she was.*

She smiled as his arms wrapped around her. She placed her hands on his and looked back at him. "So, what happened to that troublesome demon or whatnot?"

*Drake sighed again, trying to think of how to word it. His dragonblood problem was the main reason he had left, and she probably wouldn't like how he'd finally dealt with it.*
We... we worked out an agreement, I guess you could say.

Yuki frowned at the explanation, then sighed and looked down. "I won't force you to tell me, Drake, but I'd like to know the truth." She slipped free from his arms and grabbed the tea kettle, filling it with water and placing it on the stove top to heat.

My dragonblood finally found balance with the rest of my being. Its power is mine, but at the cost of becoming what it wanted me to be. Becoming it.
