Lucrecia had left the mansion sometime ago, upon hearing about the news. She felt like doing a little investigating of her own.She had been back in Sector 5, As it would be the very best area to find information.Then, when she got to a paticular area the women came to a short stop, when three figures cought her eye. One was a human, the other..well, another human, and then followed by a stalagmite.She had really hoped the one guy could fight, and it didn't look like the one holding the camera was any sort of fighter. And she herself wasn't so she couldn't really help.

Terran pulled out his staff, ready to right the beast that had just attacked him. "Come on out you cowardly theif!" And as if it understood him, a large Whole Eater with a glow coming from within it came flying out at him. Terran took his staff, and swung, the fire crest materia within it glowing brightly as the staff collided with the beast. The Whole Eater was slammed into the ground, and managed to get back up far too quickly to be seen as normal. The glow inside the beast brightened as it began gathering magic energy.

Rinoa smiled brightly, She rememberd the very first time she asked Zell to get his ring for her. How excited she was when he told her he could make a copy of it.She was so silly back then. She huggled him close once more,cuddleing up to him. ".Thanks, Squall...But, it wasn't just the ring,It was you..Your voice..It was you who saved me that day."

Lucrecia glanced off to the side, into the direction of the camera man. It was people like that, that ended up dead for being curious enough to be in the danger zone.But, maybe he was just lucky and wouldn't get botherd.After a moment, she looked back to Terran. There was no question of was he a good fighter, the answer was clear by now. He -was- a good fighter.But so far, his methods were not anything like what she heard on the news. So it obviously couldn't be him. He was just in the wrong area, at the wrong time.

The women watched on. As quickly as the battle had began, it also came to a quick end. She seemed to be rather interested in the glowing Earth Crest Materia in Terrans hand.It looked like a regular materia orb, but what she didn't know was the exact type. Something she wouldn't find out at all.

While she was watching him, She never noticed the man behind her. And he was gone just as quickly! Sighing, she shook her head. Now that the two men were gone, and the monster was gone, she turned around.

"!" Oddly enough, she stopped before she even got started to leave the area.There on the ground was a dead Whole Eater, and the way it was killed was just the way they described on the news. HOW did she miss that? Shaking her head again, Lucrecia finally continued on, away from the area.Where was she to go now? She thought about going back to Neibelhem many times.Maybe she should just go there for a while.The only thing she wasn't aware of was that the mansion was completely destroyed.

The young women headed her way through the slums, and eventually passing up the church. She then proceeded her way toward the exit, where, just outside of the city was a small car rental place.It was her best bet, so she went to the rent-a-car.

"Hello, Sir..What is the cheapest car to rent?"

The man guided Lucrecia past the high class cars, and to the set of older ones. Mostly old beat up trucks that really didn't look like they'd work to well.She looked at the one he pointed too, then to him."..Are they ..even safe?" She gave him a look. She wanted a Safe ride, not something that would drive off a cliff or blow up the moment she started it.

"H-hey! Of course they are. I wouldn't be letting people rent them if they were not safe. I could get sued for that! " He put up his hand, laughing nervously as he shook his head. "Sorry,ma'am....To show you that I am truthful, This one is on me." He held out a set of keys to her and waited for her to accept them.

"...Free? It -must- be bad!" She took the keys away from him, and walked on over to the car. "Very well. Thank you..I'll return it if I survive the trip!" She really was out of options, and Chocobo's were not her thing. She never rode one before.She could only hope this thing would make it the distance she would be driving.Finally, Lucrecia set in the keys to the ignition, before starting it up. What happened the moment the truck turned on was simple. A loud bang was heard, then the sound of a screeching engine was next. It almost seemed as though it was going to die, when it fully started up again. This time a burst of white and black smoke came out of the pipe in the back of the truck.

"..Goodnesss..This is really very embarrassing." Sighing, she tried to start it up again. And much like before, it started up. Though it was a little more smoother this time.She cautiously stepped on the gas and eased off slowly. then, as it kept going and didn't seem to have a problem, she pushed down a little more, until the truck was going at a good speed away from the city as she started on her journey.

Squall couldn't deny it. What she said was true. If it weren't for the necklace and his voice, she wouldn't have survived. Luckily, the couple is back together again, and this time, they won't ever part. He smiles at Rinoa and his lips move slightly towards hers.

In the slums, a sudden, loud, screech cleaved through the air, followed by a mighty rumbling. Out from the slums ran the man of the wild, Ralenel. Around his neck was a necklace made from the teeth of several Whole Eaters, and he seemed to be in a sort of panic as he ran. Soon after, his reason followed. Hundreds of Whole Eaters began to spill forth from the slums, climbing over buildings and walls as they chased him. He fired an arrow, and got one of them in the leg, before turning back and running again.


(note that he's not running from one, not two, not even three, but HUNDREDS. Being a long range fighter, he has every right to run from that))

Ralenel ran between two buildings, and jumped from wall to wall between the two until he reached the top. Upon reaching the top, he whistled loudly, then fired another arrow at the Whole Eaters.

In another part of the sector, a wolf howled, and ran out on the streets, charging towards the area Ralenel and Sephriea were at.
