Oh yeah. :3 My friend finished her NaNoWriMo yesterday morning.
Which I take in as I should be able to do the same, as she's a bit lazier than I am when it comes to writing, but that was like, two years ago. :U She does it a lot more than I do now, but I take it as, I could do it, if I put my mind to it.
The only problem is I see how much Stephen King writes, even though he is all about the detail, and I realize that there are parts in his books where it is almost a chore to just get through to read the more exciting bits, and then I realize that people like that or else he wouldn't have sold anything. :I Then again, I can look at Carrie, or the first Harry Potter book. Those were short. Those authors can afford to be long and boring mixed with interesting and exciting however, but at the start, they had to be condensed with their works. I suppose, the didn't have the interest in their writing that would be needed to read something that's more than a thousand pages, or almost a thousand pages. /rambling
tl;dr My friend finished her NaNoWriMo and plans on revising and editing it so she can send it to publishers.
I take this as a 'haul-a**- type of thing.
