Sephiroth's hand shot out of thin air, the rest of his body erupting in a soundless burst a fire. He took a deep breath--that new trick had made him break a sweat. His fingers curled around the newcomer's wrist, wrenching it up into a prone position.
"No. We're going to kill you if you don't come up with another way to get rid of her illness. And you'd better make it quick."

"My shojiki can probably think of better ways to kill you than I can," Nyl added. She sent Seph a flash of her relief at him being here. "I'm older, but he's more creative."

"Heh, what reason would I have to tell you, or help you for that matter. I created that thing. Without Fenrir she's useless. All failed experiments are to be disposed up, I'm sure you should understand." He cocked his head to the side, staring into Sephiroth's familiar eyes. He had seen him before.

"Fenris would rather die than have anything to do with Fenrir again."

Something he said set Seph off. He swiftly placed his leg behind Yamamato's and brought his wrist-holding hand swiftly to his neck, just below the chin, just above the adam's apple. He followed through with the motion, twisting his upper body so as to force Yamamato's back into the wall head-first. If the full motion was completed, the impact on the back of Yamamato's skull would be enough to knock his vision wobbly for a few moments, but not enough to cause any permanent damage.
"Because if you don't, you'll become our experiment." The heat his body gave off was nearly unbearable. To Seph.

Nyl blinked in surprise. Seph usually didn't react that strongly to...anything.
"That sounds like fun. What should we do first?"

He grinned, her vision not seeming to be impaired at all. He pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose and chuckled. "Your experiment? I'm afraid that as of yet, you still have no material to work with. Fenris must have caught on by now, yet both of you struggle to understand." He disappeared in a black mist and reappeared in the corner of the room, tossing a metal cutting instrument in the air.
"My, oh my... I wonder how that girl is doing now... it has been quite some time. And that source you are throwing into her body is having no effect. I wonder why this would be?"

Fenris was getting worse and worse slowly. He breathing was very unsteady and she was gripping the side on the bed, trying to throw all her concentration into her system. "Seph... stop... he's not... here."

Who calls chakra a source?
It had to have been having some effect - Fen wasn't dead yet.
"I stand by what I said. I know that Fen would prefer death to being involved with Fenrir again. If that's what has to happen, so be it."
Nyl was screaming at herself for saying something like that...but she could counter it with a very logical argument, too.

Seph quickly composed himself. The veins in his arm became less pronounced as he straightened his body and turned, pocketing his hands. Clearly force was not going to work. He looked to Nyl.
~Any ideas?~
"So you want Fenrir back inside of Fenris. Why?"

"I created the girl; she is my experiment. That is all you need to know, boy." He brought his legs up and sat in mid air, waving his right hand a bit. "Honestly, is this how you treat the wounded? Promise to help, then let them die? What a let down..."

A spark of anger flashed through Nyl, but she didn't let it catch. He was trying to get a reaction from her, and fighting a shadow would get her nowhere.
~I can find him, hunt him down and turn him into so much dry ice, but that won't help us. ...Unless we can think of something fast, Fen will die. But I know she'd take that over Fenrir.~

Seph took a deep breath. "I'm not here to get into an argument with you. You wouldn't be here unless you needed Fenris. Your hand is on the table, and that puts you at a disadvantage. If you let her die, something tells me you lose this experiment forever, and I don't think you want to do that."
~Oh, trust me. We'll do that once Fen is settled. You turn him to ice, I melt him to a puddle, then we put him out in the sun to evaporate.~

"My, then why would I PUT her into such a condition, sir? Another moment or two of being stuck with that syringe and she would be dead. I don't need her so much anymore; as I would appreciate her back. If I needed her, I would have simple met with her along while she was still healthier and forced her into it." He grinned and walked across the room once more, finding the ranting to be enjoyable.

"If you're just here to talk at us and play with our minds, you're wasting your figurative breath. If Fen disagreed with what I've said, she'd have let me know that by now." Nyl dropped her hands, all traces of ijutsu disappearing. "I've already told you to get out. I hate to repeat myself."
